chapter 50 - perfectly imperfect

-7 years later-

"mommy! mommy! daddy's home! daddy's home!" i heard my daughter exclaim as she was jumping on the sofa and pointing out the window with a huge smile on her face

remember when aaron proposed with a plastic ring? yeah, we got married last year when we were 22.

3 years ago, i got pregnant with kate (their daughter)

i walked next to my daughter and looked out the window with her. aaron was walking towards the house, and before he opened the door. i quickly ran to it and opened it up for him.

"hello my beautiful wife" he said and kissed me

"hey" i replied as he walked in

"where's that little princess?" he asked and started looking around

we heard giggling and we followed it.

aaron placed his bag down and then looked underneath the table.

"found you!" he exclaimed and grabbed her

"ahhh! mommy!" she screamed while aaron was tickling her

aaron chuckled and then stopped tickling her.

he placed her down and kissed her forehead.

"what have you been doing?" aaron asked her

"playing with lola!" se exclaimed

lola's her stuffed horse. she loves horses, so we bought her this HUGE stuffed horse bigger than her, and she imagined it as a real horse.

"hmm.. seems like you've had fun" aaron said and smiled

"yeah!" kate exclaimed

"do you want to see uncle jeric and uncle james?" aaron asked

kate's smile grew wider and then she started bouncing up and down while screaming 'yes'

"okay. why won't you go and get ready?" he asked her and mate nodded before going upstairs to her bedroom

aaron, jeric and james became best friends in the past fee years.

james got married to a girl named vanessa, and jeric got married to a girl named chloe, and their having a baby boy soon.

i've become best friends with chloe and vanessa as well.

right now, i'm watching frozen with kate. the song 'let it go' was playing. so instead of watching the movie, i watched my daughter sing the song loudly.

the door bell ran, and aaron answered it.

"hey bro" i heard aaron say

i turned around and see jeric, james, and their wives walk in.

"uncle jeric! uncle james!" i heard kate exclaim and then i see her running towards them

jeric picked her up and spun her around.

"how's my favorite niece?" he asked her

"good!" she replied

when she got down, she quickly wrapped herself around james' leg

"hey there princess" he said and picked her up

"hi uncle james" she said

"hey girlies" i said and hugged both chloe amd vanessa

-after dinner-

i place kate softly on her bed and kissed her forehead.

she fell asleep while were watching tangled

i walked out and closed the door half way.

i walked into the room and find aaron watching a football game.

i crawled up next to him and cuddled.

who knew a loser like me would end up marrying the school's bad boy?

"what sre you thinking about?" aaron whisoere into my ear

"about how a loser like me ended up with the school's bad boy" i said

he chuckled and then kissed me.

"you're not a loser" he said in between the kiss

"i'm perfectly imperfect" i said

"but you're perfect for me" he said and then kissed me one more time.

the kiss became heated fast, and before i knew it our clothes were scattered on the ground.

"wanna give kate a younger brother?" he whispered and i rolled my eyes

"shut up and kiss me already" i said and without hesitation, aaron brought his lips to mine
