chapter 34 - i promise

i just stayed there. frozen. my eyes were a bit wide. my mouth slightly apart.

i'm just shocked.. i never actually thought aaron would be confessing his love for me.

"you know what.. just forget that i said that" aaron said and startwd rubbing the back of his neck

"no. no.. aaron" i whispered

he turned his head and looked at me.

"i love you to" i admitted

aaron's blank face turned into a happy face.

"you have no idea how happy i am to hear that" he said and wrapped his left (unbroken arm) arm around my shoulders and kissed my lips

the kiss was slow, and passionate.

this was probably the most romantic kiss ever. besides him in his cast.

we released and just looked into eachother's eyes.

"aaron! your brother is here to pick you up!" my mom yelled from downstairs

aaron sighed. "it was great spening time with you today" aaron said as we walked towards the door

"you too" i said and made the tears swell in my eyes

"hey, hey. don't cry. it's only for the break okay? halloween break is only a week" aaron said trying to comfort me

"yeah but a week is too long" i said and made the tears fall freely

"shh. it'll be alright" he whispered and stroked my hair

"i gotta go. but promise me you'll have a good time with your cousins?" he asked

i nodded and said. "i promise"

"okay.. i gotta go. i love you lexi"

"i love you to" i replied before kissing his lips
