#Chapter 16: Getting things right.

"An hour...we've been waiting an hour.", I shouted at Marco's face.

"Eh sorry naman."

"Is that all you can say?"

"Ano pa bang dapat kong sabihin?"

This is stressing me.

Why is he so insensitive?

He doesn't listen to anything we say to him.

Honestly speaking, Manager Shei and I are doing everything we can to make him have his debut.

Promotions, recommendations, model castings and even tv guestings.

Everything!

And we are not being over-reactive on what happened earlier. 

We should be over-reacting!

He has not established his good name yet for so many years now and he wants to put his headline as the nobody who beat up the designer?

"OK...Let's see what happened back there.", Manager Shei joined the conversation, "You, Marco, why did you punch that designer?"

"You saw it manager, he was insulting Jamie..."

"Yes, I did, and about that. Jamie became my responsibility, why did you insist on making me take her on my shoulders. Now she let us down."

"We perfectly know that it wasn't Jamie's fault. Miaka here is the one at fault."

I was taken aback.

"I admit that. It was my choice not to wear those pieces. How do you even know that!"

Honestly I didn't want Jamie to get in trouble.

I guess I didn't think about it much.

"I admit wearing a different piece, I guess I wasn't thinking hard, I didn't mean for her to get hurt."

"Miaka, you do realize we had to pay for damages, you owe Jamie a more sincere apology. You can go now but you Marco, we still need to talk more."

"I think I'll stay here."

"OK."

Marco sat closer now.

Manager Shei stood up and opened up a newspaper.

She read a little and then threw it at the table.

We are in Marco's condo unit.

"Tell me what you see, Marco."

"Yesterday's headlines."

"Yes, and who do you think will be there tomorrow?"

"Do I know them?"

"My God Marco..."

"What did I do now?"

I can't take this, "Marco, I thought I was impulsive but you're worse. You didn't even think at all. You caused a large commotion at the SGP Building! Reporters swarmed that place, we received like 10 calls now asking for your comment on that incident. People are looking for you. Your goal is to get famous as an actor or a singer, not some impulsive star wannabe who hits designers for no reason!"
