Nakatalikod siya.

She was wearing different clothes but I can recognize her.

It's Jamie.

Opo, nag-effort po ako. Pumunta ako sa Stradmore University.

Kailangan kong ibalik itong wallet niya na naiwan niya sa unit ko.

My schedule is open so I also grabbed the opportunity to know her more.

She turned.

I was expecting like a hug or hand shake.

You know stuff like that.

Stuff showing gratitude.

Pero iba rin 'to eh.

Sinigawan pa ako.

"You? Ikaw yung kumuha ng wallet ko?

I should've known. You took it last night!"

She was charging at me.

Yes charging, like a knight with a joust.

Hindi siya lumapit lang, sumugod talaga.

"Whoah! Whoah! Wait!"

I landed on my butt.

Thankfully, I stopped her forceful hit with my arms.

"What now!?"

"Ate Jamie naman, you left your wallet, I didn't take it."

She calmed a little.

I tried to stand up.

"Can you at least thank me now?"

"OK, thank you kuya."

"That's it? Sincerity naman."

"What are you trying to make me do?"

"I need an apology now."

"Ikaw pa?"

"Yes, well you hit me hard just now..."

"Well you hit me with your car. Kulang pa yan..."

Honestly mas malaki ang atraso ko sa kanya.

Haaaay, ang careless ko kasi.

Pero naging sincere naman ako sa pagso-sorry ko ah.

Nagsalita siya ulit, "OK, aalis na ako, I need to get back with my friends. Salamat sa pagbabalik ng wallet ko. Yan ha, nagpasalamat na ako, sana naman masaya ka na."
