Happy could not even describe my mood at that moment

I ran like a mad woman from Mrs Lawrence's office to my room.
It is not everyday you get the freedom. You yearn for so badly... Without a word to my friends I began to pack my things in a hurry.

Not like I had alot to pack, I quickly changed my clothes to my best gown and put the rest in my bag and hurried back to the office. They were still chatting when I got there and I just stood like a good girl with no worries

They must have sensed the anxiety because they wrapped up their discussion and we were heading out of the office

Because I was too happy. I didn't say goodbye to anyone, I just went straight to the big black car and hopped into it
I am so lucky...... My parents own a car not just any car but a big fine model like this

On the drive, they continued to chat and I just stare out the window from the backseat... We drove for a long while before Mr new dad asked me

"Are You hungry angel "

Before I could answer, my new mom said

"Her name is not angel, its Agnes "

"It the same thing sweetie, Agnes and Alex and angel all the same "

"No its not the same..... Philip its not "

"It doesn't matter what I call her, I can call her anything.. Am just getting use to the name.. Besides every girl child is an angel... Right Agnes "

"Yes uncle "

"So are you feeling hungry "

"Yes sir "

"Don't worry we'll stop by at a restaurant to have dinner. Would you like that "

"Eeem...... Yes sir "
I giggled innocently

"You can drop me at home first, I don't want to go to any restaurant "

New mom answered harshly
But am feeling really hungry

"What do you mean by that "

"You heard me Phil... Take me home first "

"I can't take you home first, Angel.... Sorry Agnes is very hungry and she needs to eat so stop being silly"

Exactly... You are right dad, tell her

"There's nothing silly about not wanting to dine tonight.... Am tired and I want to go home.... Can't you just give me that "

I don't like what is going on
They are both raising voices at each other while I just sit in the back and watch....
Is this normal for couples to be at each others throat.. Just now they were all lovey dovey and now they are screaming at each other

"Your problem is your arrogance Tris,, you can't just be happy for once in your life, what's wrong with going out together as a family "

"As a family... Can you hear yourself "

"Yes... What's wrong with that"

"You want to know what is wrong, how about you just wake up from this nightmare you are having and see for yourself that all this is just another of a wasteful spending "

"I didn't ask you for anything.... Did I, besides how much does a good meal cost"

"Just Shut your dirty mouth... Right now Tris,I can do whatever I want with my money if you are tired and fed up.. Why don't you just get out.. Just quit and leave, You keep sounding like am forcing you to be here..... And am not in anyway forcing you "

"You are truly pushing this too far Philip... I am your partner, if I see you trailing the wrong path I have to tell you "

"And as my partner you are to support me not oppose and disagree me all the time "

"I am just trying to make you see reason "

"And I said I have heard enough.. I will drop you off at the next bus stop you will find your way out to anywhere you want to go from there "

"So You are not taking me home "

"No am not ''

"And why is that "

"I'm done arguing Tris... I'm done "

"You can't be serious.. "

"You know me better than to expect me to keep tolerating this nonsense "

He stopped the car by the road side

"This is stupid. Philip... I think you need to think this through "

"And I think you are wasting my time "

They gave each other silence glances before Tris hopped down from the car

Leaving me looking utterly stupid and dumb
