I hate hospitals
It just somewhere you never want to be even when you are really sick.
You just wanna get your medications and get out

I still can't believe I just hit someone
I have never hit anyone ever.... I've always been really careful.. I don't know what I was thinking before I foolishly took my eyes off the road

A second was all it took for my pants to be fried....... Am just glad she's alive.. I guess but the doctors are attending to her right now and I hope its nothing serious

And she's Tris....
How on earth did that happen
I haven't seen Tris in forever,
The last time I saw her was when Philip sent her out the house many years ago

It's funny because I recognize her so easily....... Philip's girlfriend from those days... She looked different, she's bigger and chubby now and on low cut

I knew how classy she use to be then because Philip always like them classy, always classy

I never even thought that I would ever see Tris especially like this... I feel terrible that we had to meet like this

but what am I supposed to say to her when she wakes up
I am The girl your ex boyfriend abducted many years ago...
Or am the one you falsely adopted from an orphanage home with your boyfriend who later dumped your ass

This is actually going to sounds awful
There's just no way to explain this in a sensible manner
I can just hope she recognizes me
Or not
What if she decides to screw things up for me and she's still loyal to Philip and tells me everything before I even get anywhere..

This is actually more difficult than I thought
I just have to pray she gets better first.. I'll figure things out from there

And my phone won't stop buzzing... Remember this phone is actually why am here right now and still it won't stop

I had several missed calls from Simon and dozens of messages from him too..  I ignored but a message from an unknown number caught my glance

***Hey babe.... Where are you, we are worried about you pls call back ***

***who's we... ***
. I replied immediately I saw it

***Simon and I, where are you ***

Simon and....... Ohhh.. Philip
I checked the number and realize. He was the anonymous sending me all those SMS
. and now he's worried
What exactly is this he up to... Now

When I didn't respond to the msg immediately, his call was next

I was going to pick it but thanks to a nurse that approached me and told me the doctor was ready for me
I stared at my phone and hit ignore... I don't understand what compelled me to almost pick his call just now but I'm glad I didn't eventually do it

The nurse led me to the doctor's office...
Tiny as a confession box in a chapel... Just a desk some files on it and two chairs facing the doctor's chair

The doctor was a Nerd of course ain't they all... Geeks
With his thick glasses sitting on his nose bridge
But that's not why am here ...... right

"Hello doctor "

"Welcome madam... Pls have your seat "

"Thanks.... "

"Uhhhm so I understand that you hit the patient...... Have you informed the police "

"The police...... No I haven't, why is something wrong with the lady "

"No.   . she's fine actually "

"Pheeeew! Thank you lord "

He looked up from his file and smile

"Yeah....... You were scared right "

"Ohhh I was so scared "

"You dont even have to worry about that because you merely just jerked her off the floor, she was actually a victim of her own addictions "

"what do you mean "

"We found symptoms of excessive  rashes and color change which is usually as a result of an overdose, we are actually running some tests to find out what exactly she has been taking "

"So that's why she passed out "

"Yes... Miss....  , "

"Genesis "

"Genesis..    Really "

"Yeah really....   So is she going to be OK"

"Yeah..  She'll be fine by the time she wakes up "

"Which is when "

"I dont know... We gave some sedatives to subside whatever knocked her out, so in the next couple of hours I guess "

"Let's say tomorrow morning .... "

"Yeah tomorrow morning should be fine "

"Okay so I want to go home now and return back tomorrow morning, so I want to know if she will be till I get back  "

"Yeah.... Sure,, but you do know you dont have to stress yourself over this,that's why I asked if you have informed the police.....  she would have passed out anywhere with that  amount of drugs in her system.... She's still to blame.... So we can just find any of her relative and put a call across to them and they will take it from there  "

"Maybe.. But I did knock her down with my car so I'm still to blame for that......You dont have to bother anyone about this.... I never said I wasn't responsible  "
I stood up

"I'm leaving.... I'll be back tomorrow morning.... Do i need to sign anything or pay for anything "

"Uhhhm yeah.... Pls just take your seat, I'll ask a nurse to bring the form"

I sat back and the nurse came in with the form
I was filing the details when the doctor cleared his throat

"Miss Genesis.... I'm really Sorry about that..... I didn't mean to upset you "..

"No its fine.... I understand why you said that, Dr... "
I squirt to read his badge

"Dr Obinna "

"Yes ma'am "

"I will see you tomorrow "

"Alright.......... "

i stood up and walk away ......

The drive back home was kinda refreshing, the road was free probably because it was really late like an hour to midnight late

I pulled over at my gate then I saw him hopping down from his car parked beside my house
What on earth is he doing here

he was staring at me so I had to hop down

"Philip what are you doing here "

"Why weren't you picking my calls"

His voice was loud and bold and I was suddenly furious

"I.... I.. Don't understand "

"I have been calling repeatedly .... Do you know how worried I was when you I couldn't reach you. How can you just shut people out like that.... What if something bad had happened to you "..
