I didn't find Tris in her apartment but her neighbor said he notice she came in this morning and left almost immediately and that he doesn't know when she will be back

I appreciated the guy that brought me to her apartment with cash and gratitude and also the neighbor
I gave the neighbor my number to notify me as soon as she's home

I noted the apartment, the house number and the street before leaving
When I got into my car...
I checked my phone to see if anyone had called then I remembered it was still on airplane mode

Then I went through all the messages from yesterday and I realized... I wasn't exactly being fair
They just wanted to know my whereabouts

I checked their office address and inquired from Google... And it was just about 45mins drive and since I had nothing to do at the moment

I decided to go there
They are things I stopped taking note of since I got here
I stop paying so much attention to my clothes, my hair, my footwear and even my make-up

Everyday I just come out looking like my mood for that morning
Like today am wearing a mint green button down gown and my brown sandals... My hair looks messier now probably because of the stress but I didn't exactly work on it before I left the house.
My face is pale as hell and this my lack of sleep is getting to me real good
My eye bags are more prominent

I almost considered going to a stylist, a spa and a boutique before going to their office but then that would be too much of everything
I don't want to look like am there to create distractions.. I just want to show up unannounced and see their expression or his expression if am being sincere to myself.. I know am only concerned about one person

I did visit a saloon and had my hair sprayed before heading to Pluto oil and gas

The building was outstanding ..... The structure and concept is amazing
Whoever worked on this...did an amazing job

The security guards wanted to know if I had an appointment so I had to put my phone out of it mystery to make a phone call but before I started dialing...one of The guard was communicating through his earphone and said something to his colleague

"Sorry ma'am... You can go in"

"Really...... "
I mean I haven't even made the phone call..... I drove into the building and was amazed at the worth of this place

But I hear oil business is good money
i walked into the building and I am impressed.... They put alot into making this work

I met the lady at the reception and she told me to head to the last floor... I rode the elevator to the last floor
And again am lost
Everyone seem busy minding their business and am just here doing what I don't understand

I was going to turn back but Simon's voice cut me short

"Hey senorita...... Leaving already "
I turn to look at him... In his grey suit, he cleaned up really nice.... Am use to seeing him in Ts

"I wasn't sure where to turn to "

"Where You turned up at the right moment "
He wrapped his hands around me and pulled me into a tight hug
When am I ever going to get use to this..... That's right Never

He pulled away and placed a small kiss on my cheeks

"It's so good to see you babe.... Welcome... Welcome to my aboard

I smiled and look around... Everyone's looking, he held my hand and led me to his office.....
Shattered and untidy was the only thing I could notice but am not really surprised..... He's Simon

He sat me down and pushed away more files from his table and sat on it facing me

"Damn..... I can stare at you all day "

I faked a blush..... I don't think I can handle this dude.. Lord knows what he must be thinking right now

"Don't You have like things to do "

"I do.... But they can all wait"

"Then I would be leaving... I didn't come here to distract you.... As a matter of fact, I came here to help "

"And help is exactly what you are doing right now . You are putting me out of my mystery and taking me to paradise "

"OK OK.... Am sorry, I am just glad you are good... I thought you were upset about something that's why you didn't turn up yesterday "

"Noooo... That's not it, I got held up at work "

"I understand..... My lady "

"Where's Philip "

"He's in the conference room.... Doing all the work, we better go join him before he lose it"

I stood up

"What would you like you to have... Coffee, tea, juice "

"Am good for now "

"Or You want the main course.... "

"No Simon..... Am good thanks "

"I will... In due time.... Can we go to the conference room now "

He stood up and opened the door for me... Then he led me to the conference room

Everyone was either typing on a laptop or sorting out files
It was just one hell of work mode

I sighted the man of my mystery at the edge of the table, crowded by three to four people checking something on a laptop

"Alright... Get to it guys "

He said and they cleared from his side

"Look who we have here Philip "
Simon said loudly catching unaware with her arm around my shoulders

Philip looked up and his gaze fell on me like hurricane.... He stared at me for endless couple of minutes and it was beginning to look awkward so I moved out of Simon's hold and towards him and surprising myself I was stretching my arms to him

He stood up immediately and hugged me... Faster and tighter than I would have wanted
My body against his... My chest crushed against his hard abs,
His hand resting on my lower back and mine around his neck
I could smell his perfume.... Lavender as always.... It felt so warm and hot at the same time,
This is too intimate
why am I in his arms again
I pulled away slowly and smiled

"Hi... Genesis, its good to see you "

"Yeah same here.... Looks like am interrupting a very busy meeting "

"No we are not so busy.... You can join us "

I said a general hello to everyone in the room and Simon pulled out a chair for me
