Juliet carries herself with this charisma that just makes you respect her

Their house was full with different people today..... I just sat In a corner busy with my phone..

Juliet was also busy talking to every group in the house
Tomorrow is the primary elections

Looking gracious in her colorful knee length gown, and silver heels... She managed to carry the crowd along with her beautiful smile and casual hugs and kisses

I just admired her personality today.... She's puts in alot to achieve whatever she intends to do..
Even when she asked me to wait.. I didn't press further...
I waited besides I don't have better things to do and my house is just across the road

Her husband is nowhere in sight
Can you imagine the man of the hour is not even here right now

But The way she handles everything
Just makes it difficult to screw things over for them
Because whatever you do  doesn't  affects anybody but Juliet

While I was still busy with my phone in a corner a text came in from Victoria

Shoot! I almost forgot she exist
I saw her briefly running around a while ago with an ipad... I just tried to dodge her. And I notice she was gone for a while...

I wish she had Stayed gone... Or perhaps I had seen her before she saw me that would have been better... I would have dodged her again

I read the message reluctantly

"Can You come upstairs... I want to talk to you pls "

I looked up and saw her hanging by the rails and looking at me sheepishly

I sighed heavily before standing up and moving up the stairs.
as I was moving up the stairs.. She was moving and leading me to the end of the lobby

She entered a room and held the door for me pass through.... I looked at her for a while to understand what she's up to. Before I walked in she shut the door behind me..

The room was not so big but it was really lovely.... I looked around to notice someone surely lives here.. Why did she bring me here..

I turned towards her and fold her arms...
Victoria is not a kind of person.. You can ignore. She would surely crawl her way back to you.....
It's just the way she is..
So I decided to go easy on her

"Ohh Genesis ". She smiled and gave me a hug.. I wasn't expecting that but I didn't push her away

"How have you been "
I said after I pulled away slowly from the never ending hug tangle

"Have been good... I missed you though.. Where have you been "

"Here and about... I finally got my apartment "

"Really that's good..... Where "

"Somewhere really close...i will show you later"

"Wow that's great... Am so happy for you..... We need to celebrate this..."

"I know right.... But what's up with this place why did you bring me here"

"I brought you here so i can show you.. This room besides we have alot to talk about.... Sit"

She pointed at the bed and I sat gently on it..

"Where do I even start from ..... We have a lot to talk about .. I think we haven't spoken since after the Simon issue .... I think I still owe you an apology for that "

"I'm sorry I dismissed that man from your presence without explaining what occurred between us...... "

"Even if he's Philip's friend or partner I don't care.... A man like him doesn't deserve any humor.... And before he would try that shit with anyone especially my own friend, I had to put him in his place.....What insolent!  That's a disrespect to me... "

I sighed and looked around to exhale the awkwardness

"When I initially started working with Juliet..   It wasn't easy, infact I was losing it.... I even wanted to quit..... But Simon came out from no where... As encouragement. I wouldn't lie... He gave me this support , emotional encouragement that I needed at that time... I appreciated  it and we got closer.... It wasn't something I planned for but this man made it look like I planned everything and it wasn't so... He approached and started asking me out.... And I really liked him and so I agreed... But after I agreed he started taking me for granted .... He ignores me in public and dictate when to call him.... I find that very annoying.. Wouldn't you?...... But i didnt give up.. I kept trying to make our relationship work but it was a waste of time... That bastard already got what he wanted.. "

She made a face and for a moment I thought she Was going to cry

"And then at that period when my roommate moved out I was broken and I needed comfort so I asked him if I could move in with him for the main time until I could get back on my feet but he screwed me over.. Told me he never asked me out and I can't just come and stay with him because I felt like it as if that was not enough.. He took the gist to Juliet and You know what..... She embarrassed me and told me I was love sick... I mean can you imagine that... "

"No I can't but it understandable.... It is something that she can say.... And Simon I must admit he didnt do  well with you but we have to let by gones be bygones..... That's all in the past "

I just want to end this conversation as soon as possible.... My ears are bleeding from the endless blabbing

"Forget about it... You dont have to stress yourself over things like that.... And if I still chose to go out with Simon after all you have sad... That's my business "

"True.. To that... I feel like we should drink to that "
