What a lucky, day
I wasn't expecting the agent to show me an apartment just right opposite the house...

Infact I was so stranded that at this point I wouldn't mind.. I would just take anything available...

The first house he showed me was yet to be completed... It was an ongoing construction... Most of the appliances haven't been put in place..

And I can't wait for that... It would take weeks or even months to get them in place...
He just got a call that a tenant just moved out under 6months of his rent and was looking for someone to stay in the house and pay him the remaining half of his rent..

I wasn't even intrigued to check it because all my mind was telling me was that.. The person probably moved out of the house because he didn't like it and there's something wrong with it

But I decided to give it trial because I was desperate.....
When we got right in front of julie's house. I wanted to ask him if he had  to see Julie today but he said no...
And lead me to a storey building painted the same color as the rest in the estate..

I sighed and followed him upstairs... We met with the guy... His name is Micheal and he said he was moving out because he got accepted in a school abroad to do his masters

He also explained that there's no issue with the apartment that all appliances works fine and if he was going to school abroad there's no reason for him to move out

I checked the house and I had to stop myself from jumping up like a child
This apartment was perfect
It was on the top floor...... A very nice condo....

Just a room and a portable parlor and small kitchen and toilet just like Mira's....
I made A sad sigh when I recalled about it... I don't like how I moved out when we are having a rough patch

Ohhh I completely forgot to send the money for bobby's school fees yesterday.....
Gosh that is a terrible mistake
I had a busy and occupied day yesterday so I completely forgot

I would make sure I do that immediately we finish here... I can't and I won't change my mind about that even though I'm making a lot of expenses today with the apartment and all

I checked the veranda and realize it was directly facing the Jackson's. This is just great.. I never thought I would get this opportunity ever.......

We talked about the handing over of ownership and thanks to my experience as a lawyer.... I knew just what and what is required

They asked me if I would love to continue my stay in this house beyond the remaining six months left in his rent...... So they can connect me to the landlord

But that wouldn't be necessary... Six months should be my timer here..... I need to get everything done before six months before I lose everything..... So No.... Six months should be more than enough

Then Michael told me he would love to sell his furniture and some of his  home appliances because he needs all the money he can get to travel

I was grateful... It was a huge relief for him.... So I told him I would do the transfer in dollar so he doesn't have to bother about changing the currency

He was grateful and gave me alot of discounts..... The only thing he took out of the house was the washing machine.. He was taking to his mother. Every other thing became mine the moment I sighed the paper

Michael would be leaving by Sunday and till then I just have to stay in an hotel... Although he didn't mind that I move in immediately but I know he needs his time alone.... And I wouldn't want to ruin that

By the time we finished with the meeting it was already evening ... I was exhausted and hungry .... I have not eaten anything since morning...

Then my agent was kind enough to give me a lift to a nearby eatery..

I would have loved to dine with him to appreciate him for a work weldone but he had to go home to his family

Before my order arrived... I checked through my phone.. It has been in my bag all day
I had several missed calls

From Simon, from Victoria, from Mr Ibrahim and even Julie..

Wow... Now how do I return all this. Calls .. I'm so tired and all I want to do is sleep it off.. I don't think I can manage a conversation right now

While I was savoring my meal... A call came in and it was Julie....
I groaned with the chewing in my mouth and answered the call reluctantly

"Hello Julie "

"Ohhh hey there Genesis... Where have you been.. I have been calling you all day. Where did you dumb your phone  "

"I left it in my bag and I haven't had time to touch it until now"

"I was really worried.... Where are you now and why did you leave without telling me "

"Well You were dead asleep babe.... Dead asleep "
I emphasized

She chuckles... "That most have been horrible... But you should have dropped a message for me.... Even Philip was worried.. He kept asking me to call you to know if you were ok"

Why is he bothered about that.... What is my business with his

"Ohhh really "

"Duh.... Yeah... Where are you now "

"On The road... "

"Where are you headed "

"To see a friend "

"Ohhh... Well Philip wanted to let you know that your car would be ready by tomorrow... So you can come pick it up"

Ohhh no wonder he was asking after me.... The only business he has with me is my car and nothing more

"That's great..... I'm so grateful... Pls send my appreciation to him... So how do I get in touch with the mechanic so I can pay for his services "

"Are You kidding me.... You know you are not paying for anything so stop bothering yourself "

"But it's my car and my responsibility. I have to pay.. Just help me connect with the driver "

"Good luck with that.. There's no way Philip would ever allow you pay for it... You are like my only friend that he has ever liked..... Don't bother yourself with anything.. Just come tomorrow and pick your car"

I was in awe   .. What just happened
