I didn't want to ask Simon to drop me off so I told him i ordered..... Uber and he didn't argue..
. he walked me to the ground floor and insisted that he would wait till the driver comes
And I was just trying to connect with Uber driver and listen to simon's rants
I notice the same black rover that brought me here parked by a corner..
I excused myself from Simon and moved closer then notice the driver was sleeping.
I knock on the glass and he jumped up and wined down
"Hello madam "
"Godwin what are you still doing here.... Your boss left a while ago "
"No.... I'm not waiting for oga, am waiting for you "
"Me...... Why, did I forget something in the car "
''No madam.... You didn't forget anything..... Oga said I must make sure I take you home safely "
"He said that "
"Yes madam "

"Yes..... He said he was going to the beach "
"Beach..... What beach "
"Blue shore..... That's his usaul hangout "
"Really...... But he shouldn't have bothered you now.... Am sure you want to go to blue shore too and just relax "
"Nahhhh... Oga prefers to go there alone, anytime he is going there he drives himself..... I dont think he has ever taken Anyone there let alone me "
And I would have really love to go to this beach and know what happens there........ But since Godwin says he doesn't like to go there with anybody so I'm thinking I would go on my own just on the same day... He is going too
I said Goodbye to Simon and he started making his puppy dog eyes and instead of looking cute, he looked terrifying and I hopped into the car without another glance
The drive was so soothing and a calm song was playing slowly on the background
"Wow..... Who's singing Godwin "

"Really.... Whats the title "
"I'm not the only one "

"Yez ma "
"So You listen to this kinds of songs.... Huh"
He chuckled
"Me I just like cool music and I love to listen to Sam Smith, he sings well and calmly.... Calm enough to hear his lyrics well "

I remembers the bugs I kept beneath my phone and removed one and placed it in between the car radio, as I kept distracting him with my conversation and running my hand through the spot....
It was dark so he couldn't notice anything..... And it was well hidden and not easily noticeable....
Even if it is found I'm sure no one would trace it back to me
But I hope they would not notice it.... I need it right here to be part of every conversation they make in this car
If I get home I would check the transmitter to see if everything is working fine
And if it not... I'll just have to try harder
"So Godwin.... How often does oga go to the beach "
"Ahhhhh very often ooo.... He goes at least twice or thrice a week depending on his mood"
"So where would you be when he's at the beach "
"I'll go home early or just rest for the night ''
"Ohhh sorry... I must have ruin your plans, am sorry about that... Ohh no wonder you were sleeping "
"Ahhh madam.... It is not easy,....me I'm just happy that oga won his primary election today..... Very soon I will be senator's driver.... It is such a great honor "
"Yeah that's good for you ....... But your oga said he was going out to celebrate his win and he didn't even come close to our gathering at all.... He was by himself by the bar and before I knew it he was gone... He left for his beach "
"oga doesn't do well with crowd..... Therewas a day he took all the small small boys in their party out to a club.... He brought them enough drinks and left them there........ He is just not moved by crowd "
"So why not just stay indoor with his family..... Unless he has something to occupy his time "
Godwin laughed... Of course he won't answer that... I was digging too deep.. He must have notice that I'm being too inquisitive.
Who knows now.... He may just tell his boss about it
"Don't mind me... The alcohol must have kicked in..... Geez am having a terrible headache "

Soon he pulled over in front of their building and I thanked him and hopped down
i was unzipping my dress in my room when my phone buzzed

Obviously it's Simon..
He's silly atimes but with his confession today.. Am sure I won't have a breathing space from now henceforth
I didn't plan for this at all...
I never arranged for a relationship along the way
I've not had one in years and I definitely do not need a complication at this point of my life
Besides I'm only here temporarily
Until then I think I can manage a relationship free life just the same way have done all my life
