The day's work was an hectic, I've been on my toes all day and I still can't figure out where the clash is coming from.
Our tank no is 743 618 BT
And theirs is 743 618 BC

How's that possible... I still think the clash is coming from the supplies or they are trying to mess with our heads giving us tanks with similar number coming in the same day and now one is missing

I passed by the corridor and there Simon stood by the window making a phone call...

Lord I feel like bashing his head against the window...
You show half drunk and late to work on a busy day like this and you still have the guts to sneak around to make phone calls

I moved closer to him to shove out the phone from his head and probably throw it out through the window
When I heard faintly the voice coming from the other end.

Her sweet silky and heart melting voice....
I died down on my tracks
I didn't mind that he was making a phone call anymore
I was more concern about hearing her talk even though she wasn't talking to me directly

The night had the karaoke bar was beautiful....... I wouldn't mind going out with her every single night just to hear her talk and see her smile

But she's with Simon or being chased after by Simon
And Simon seem pretty serious about her and that just makes it harder

Simon has never been serious about any girl before ..... He was so sure he'll die playing the game but with Genesis he is different.... It's like he has never been with any other girl before.... His whole life, he keeps talking about her and trying to please her

I have known him for a long time now and we've been business partners for four years and I can easily say I know that much about Him

I watched him smile and turn red from just speaking to her
And then he said
I love you
And hung up

Then he turned to face me, and I stood there like a stupid uncle eavesdropping on his little nephew

"Not exactly.... The call just ended"

"Who were you speaking to "

"Genesis "

"Woah.... Slow down there Simon, are you really really into this girl "

"I am..... Really really into her... And she's not a girl she's a full grown ass woman "

"Am glad you wrapped up your phone call lover boy... We have work to do, I still dont get how you can show up late for work and still have time to stalk ur babe "

"Sorry dude...... It's not like that... I just miss her and thank God she agreed to come here... I really can't wait to see her "

"She's coming here "

I actually can't wait to see her.....
And now that she's coming here I think it really going to be good for me

Hours past and she wasn't here
I was beginning to think Simon made it all up and she never said she was coming until I saw him pacing around the lobby like a lost puppy

"I can't..... Can't reach her, I have no idea where she is"

"Cmon stop being stupid...... You know she's not coming, so stop trying to force her"

"Am not forcing her.... The last time we spoke she said she was just leaving the office and that's was like three hours ago and since then I can't reach her.... Am scared something is up... She's answering my calls or replying my texts "

"Maybe she's held up at work and she doesn't know how to tell you stop worrying too much Simon.... It's already late... You know she can't make it "

He sighed and walked away
I advice him to stop worrying but I got so worried immediately I heard that... I started dialing and sending SMS
Then she finally replied one

I was so glad that she replied.... But if shes asking whos we then she didnt save my number...... Then I sent her my response and that was it no reply.... More messages and nothing....
I rang her several times
Nothing too

What's going on.... Is she in trouble
I would have called Juliet to call her and find out if she's doing OK
But then again I already have to deal with the fact that's she's julie's friend and now I want to inform her in something like this

I know for sure that Julie would start coming up with all these ideas until she ruin everything

I just have to calm down and wait
So I drove home and parked in front of her house
If she's in there and ignoring my calls
I would be so mad at her

But if she's not and in trouble
What would I do

Not after fifteen minutes of parking beside her house... Her car pulled over and I hop down without thinking
She was surprise to see me
I wonder if she's ever happy to see me, I checked to see if she was ok

Before I lost my cool and just lash at her......
She was devastated and I was surprised at my own outburst

She waited a while before she asked me softly

"Why are you yelling at me "

Ohhh Gosh I was yelling wasn't I....
I tried to explain to her and she was backing away from me like she was scared

I can't believe this
I just ruined everything by being overly protective....
I'm sure she doesn't believe a thing I just said and even about knowing her apartment... I sound stupid
What was I thinking

I said good night before I mess up even more and drove into my building
I hope she doesn't think am a stalker or something
