Chapter 23--I Need
"Oh, god. I really hate the smell of hospital! Ugh. Kapag nakakakita ako ng puting pader naaalala ko yung impyernong pinanggalingan ko." Janice still can't get over, she had been talking about it for how many hours. Kalalabas niya lang ng ospital pero andito na agad siya para magtrabaho, she's really a hardworking person.
"At least you're okay now, but honestly speaking.. you kinda lose weight?" I commented to her.
Napalitan ng ngiti ang busangot niyang mukha. "Really? I've been dieting for how many months! Kailangan pala lagi akong nasa ospital para pumayat ako. Hmm, instant diet pa." She chuckled then she looked her face at the mirror closer. Dahil sa paggalaw niya ay dumulas ang eyeliner na ilalagay sana sa kanya ng make-up artist. Pinigil ko ang tawa ko.
"Ma'am sorry po." Natatakot na sabi ng make-up artist.
Janice sighed. "Its okay, buti na lang at good mood ako. Dali, burahin mo." Tumango ang make-up artist at inayos na lamang ito.
"Wow, you look handsome, Aeon. Really. Seriously. This is not the first time I saw you inside in suit but its kind of different today. Blooming ka ha!" Janice looked at me from head to toe while gaping then her eyes suddenly spark while smiling widely. "I wonder what Echo would look like if he's wearing that groom's suit!" Napatili siya kaya naagaw niya ang atensyon ng mga nasa paligid niya. Hindi lang kami ang nandito, may mga nagsusukat din ng wedding gown pero iilan lang. We're gonna shoot here our next scene. Malawak ang lugar, dito rin karaniwan dinaraos ang mga reception o maaring pati kasal, ng mga sikat na tao. There were chandeliers, elegant and fine designs on the walls and furnitures, like that.. its really a wedding reception ideal place.
I smirked. "Wag ka naman magpahalata masyado, Janice."
"Tch, ewan ko sa'yo. Bakit kasi sinabi mo kay Irene? Ang sarap niya kaya asarin!" She rolled her eyes then she crossed her arms. Janice also looked good with that wedding dress, even this is only a fictional movie, the wedding dress obviously has full of effort with those details. Sinabi ko sa kanya na alam na ni Irene ang totoo na may gusto siya kay Echo. Nung sinabi niya rin yan sa akin ay nabigla ako, mas bata kasi sa kanya si Echo. I wonder how did she knew my cousin.
"Hayaan mo na, naasar mo na eh." Inayos kong muli ang coat ko.
"Tsk. Aminin mo nga, kaano-ano mo ba siya? Kaibigan? o Ka-ibigan?"
I was quiet for seconds before I answered her. "The answer is not on the choices, I'm sorry."
"Mysterious huh." She hissed then she suddenly grab some strands of her hair. "Ano ba naman, hindi maayos ang pagkakakulot!" Tinalikuran niy ako at tsaka bumalik sa nag-aayos ng buhok niya. Maarte talaga si Janice di tulad ni.. nevermind.
I sat on one of the couches while waiting, mahaba-haba pa kasi ang oras bago pa kami magsimula. May mga na-late din kasing mga artista na ngayon pa lang aayusan. Did they know what's the meaning of profesionalism? Tsk.
