Chapter 6 Complications

Its been at least 8 hours since the guard fell asleep.

As Fuli was sleeping she started to hear the sound of something being crushed. Fuli started to yawn, and rubs her eyes first, she looks beside her and notices Kion is still in the same position from last night, as Fuli's eyes shifted she saw Buku was sitting across from her crushing tuliza.

"I'm sorry did I wake you," Buku said in a quiet voice.

'Just a little but it's ok" Fuli said as she yawns and sits up.

"What are you doing?" Fuli asked

"well If you crush tuliza plants and mix them with the seeds from a lotus you can make this liquid that will help your friend get better" Buku answers as he continues to crush it.

"One question for you?" Buku asks as he looks at Fuli.

"Ok...What is it" Fuli asks curiously.

"What are your names," Buku asks as he gives out a little giggle and smile.

"Names!! How could we forget...Sorry" Fuli said a little embarrassed.

"Its ok yesterday was very tense," Buku said forgiving Fuli.

"well I'm Fuli, the hippo is Beshte, the eagle is Anga, the honey badger is Bunga, the mandrill is Makini, the egret is Ono, and this is....." Fuli said introducing everyone but she got interrupted at the end.

"Kion," Buku said as he smiles and finishes Fuli's sentence.

"Wait...How did you know that?"Fuli asked

"I heard you say his name a couple of times when I was treating him last night," Buku said as he smiled.

"Right," Fuli said smiling back.

As Buku was done crushing the Tuliza and lotus seeds he poured it into a bowl and he approached Kion. Buku then looked at Fuli.

"May I," Buku asked Fuli politely.

"Of course' Fuli quickly agrees.

Buku opened Kions mouth and slowly poured the liquid down his mouth. As Fuli watched all she heard was the sound Of Kion swallowing the liquid.

'There, now he just needs rest and he'll be fine" Buku said as he closed  Kions mouth.

"Asante Buku," Fuli said as she thanks Buku.

"It's the least I can do," Buku said reassuring Fuli.

"I'm guessing you're not from around here, So where are you headed," Buku asked Fuli as he started to clean up.

"The tree of life" Fuli answered.

'Hmmm why are you going there" Buku asks.

"Our friend Ono was exposed to Vog while rescuing Bunga and it changed his vision he has trouble seeing, and Kion got bit by a snake that's why he has that scar, the venom needs to be cured or Kion will not know the difference between good and evil, the tree of life is the only cure for both of them" Fuli explains.

"Ok...I see I'm assuming you've had a long journey" Buku saids.

"Yes...Were from the pride lands" Fuli saids.

"Wow you have traveled far," Buku said as he smiled.

*Kion starts to groan*
Fuli quicky looks at Kion and she puts her paw on Kions.

"Its Ok your safe" Fuli said to relax Kion.

But Kion quickly moved his paw away from Fuli's. Kion tried to get up but he was struggling.

"Carful you still need to rest," Buku said as he looked at Kion.

Kion looks up at Fuli and Buku and quicky moves back and hits his leg on the wall and he feels sharp pain.

"AHHHHHH" Kion yells as he falls.

After that, the rest of the guard woke up and they were too happy to see Kion awake.

"Kion what's wrong," Fuli asks with concern.

As Kion fell he crawls backward and tries to get back up.

"Who are you... and Whos Kion" Kion saids afraid but he started to feel another sharp pain jolt to his leg and he quickly falls again. As Bunga tries to get close Kion moves back and growls.

"Honey badger step away," Buku said
Quickly.

"Buku what's wrong with him," Fuli asks.

It looks like your friend has amnesia he must have hit his head real hard. Buku said trying to remain calm.

"Nooooooooooo" Bunga yells in sadness.

As Bunga yelled Kion backed up more.

Bunga goes to Ono

"Whats amnesia" Bunga whispers to Ono.

"Its a term used when someone gets memory loss, when Kion hit the rock his head hit it first, causing him to forget things,common knowledge really," Ono saids as he answers Bunga.

Fuli P.O.V
Kion was shivering in the corner, limping, and scared. Kion it's me Fuli I said trying to approach him. But he quickly growled at me. I took a  step back then I looked in his eyes all I could see was fear, I started to feel scared because Kion didn't know who we were.
