Chapter 60 Race To The Edge

Alex, Fuli, and Rani were running to get to the Plateau, "Alex find the others and tell them to meet us there" Rani ordered. Alex smiled, "You got it Rani" Alex replied as he branched off from them heading back to find the others. Fuli and Rani ran together so they both could reach the Plateau before Talon could make his move.

Meanwhile, Kion ran past a sign that said danger but he ignored it as he remembered seeing Talon run up this way. Talon fell and Kion finally pounced on Talon, Talon grunted as Kion was on him, "It's over Talon" Kion growled. Talon smiled evilly, "I couldn't agree more" Talon agreed. Kion was confused for a second and during that second Talon cut Kion's paw and rolled out. Kion took a step back and growled at Talon, "Oh Kion I've been in this situation before but this time you won't be so lucky" Talon admitted. When Talon said that two squirrels dived at Kion cutting him on his sides. Kion kneeled down but whacked one and it fell back into the plateau falling all the way down. The squirrel didnt react fast enough and fell and got impacted by the rocks. "You'll regret that" Talon promised as he and two others started attacking Kion, Kion tried to hold off but when he took a step back he was at the edge of the cliff. "Why did it have to be a cliff," Kion asked himself in his head.

Back with The Lion Guard and Night Pride most of Skip's forces were defeated they either surrendered or retreated leaving and never returning.  Skip looked around as he watched The Lion Guard and Night Pride fight together defeating the squirrels and squirrels fell from the skies from Anga and Ullu's attacks. Skip started gliding away and Bunga noticed it, "Anga I need a lift" Bunga called. Anga dived down and grabbed Bunga, "Where to," Anga asked, "in front of Skip" Bunga ordered. Anga flew up past Skip, Skip saw Bunga in the air and Anga turned so Bunga's back was facing Skip. "What the.." Skip questioned, "AND GOODBYE!!!" Bunga yelled as he released a big fart cloud into Skip's face. Skip lost control and crashed into a tree coughing, "By the ancients, that's the most hideous, and the foulest thing I've ever seen" Skip explained coughing. 

Skip shook his head and was about to get back up, but Nirmala, Baliyo, Scout, and Surak pinned him down and growled. Skip whimpered in fear, "ORDER THEM TO STOP!" Surak growled again. "ENOUGH ENOUGH STOP STAND DOWN!!!" Skip yelled repeatedly. When the squirrels saw that they looked around and sa it was over and slowy they landed and laid down surrendering. The Lion Guard, Night Pride, and Beavers smiled as they saw the squirrels surrender. The animals of the tree of life cheered, "It's finally over" Makini insisted,  "EVERYONE!" Alex yelled running to them. Everyone looks at Alex and the Beavers smiled seeing him, "No time to explain but Kion is in trouble" Alex explained. A Beaver stepped forward, "Night Pride, and Lion Guard you should go we will deal with the Squirrels and the animals" A Beaver explained, Nirmala smiled before they all ran off following Alex back to the Plateau.

Fuli and Rani were almost there and they ran whacking squirrels that tried to stop them, "FULI! RANI!" Kion yelled. They both looked in the distance and saw Kion hanging on to the ledge, Talon saw them, "KILL THEM!!!...SOMEBODY KILL THEM!!!" Talon shouted furious ordering. The Squirrels that were with him all charged at Fuli and Rani. Talon looked at Kion and plunge his claw in his paw. Kion screamed in pain as he continued to hang on, "I'll admit you are one strong opponent you have escaped death more than twice" Talon admitted. "But Kion it seems your luck has finally run out" Talon hissed rasing his claw ready to stab Kion last paw hanging on. Fuli and Rani looked at each other, "Fuli your faster you grab Kion leaver Talon to me" Rani explained. Fuli smiled and nodded. Fuli ran right into the squirrels knocking them all down as Rani followed her path.

Rani pounced and pulled Talon's paw and yanked him away, Kion's grip fell and he was starting to fall. Fuli ran and grabbed his paw and Fuli held on to the rock, "Hang on Kion" Fuli grunted tring to pull them up. Kion smiled as he saw Fuli and heard Rani fighting Talon, Talon tried to cut Rani but she ducked and headbutt Talon, "Please mercy...." Talon begged. "Not this time Talon" Rani replied swipping her paw cutting Talon's hand. "AHHHHHH" Talon screamed in pain, Talon was on the ground and Rani approached him. "It's over Talon," Rani told him, "NEVER!" Talon yelled grabbing some dirt beside him and throwing it into Rani's eyes. Rani rubbed her eyes and Talon jumped on here and started cutting and biting. Rani screamed in pain and tried to shake him off, Fuli looks at Kion. "I have a plan, climb up me," Fuli told Kion, "What about you?" Kion asked. "When you get out you can pull me out" Fuli explained. Kion started to climb up Fuli to the ledge, when Kion head peaked out he saw Talon on Rani.  

Kion pulled himself to the top and on his left was Fuli hanging on the ledge losing grip and on his right was Talon preparing to Jab his claw into Rani..........
