Lion Guard: The Journey To The Tree Of Life

Chapter 14 Rani and The Night Pride

The Lion Guard just entered the cave and are traveling through the tunnels so they can find the exit and continue their way to the Tree of Life.

"Can you believe it guys were almost there?" Makini said happily.

"We sure have traveled a long way," Beshte said.

"I just want to thank you guys for coming along," Kion said thankfully.

"No problem Kion, we all help each other" Fuli said smiling.

"yeah, and we can finally help Ono and Kion" Bunga saids.

As the guard walk, there is light at the end of the cave leading to another forest,

"Finally light" Anga said as she flew towards the exit.

"Are you okay Ono?" Beshte asked looking at Ono.

"Yeah I'm fine I just can't wait to have my eyesight back," Ono said.

"As the guard smiled they were out of the cave in a forest,

"Anga can you see the Tree of Life," Kion asked.

"All I see are normal trees and mountains" Anga reported.

"The tree of life is a big tree in the middle of an open field, not a forest," Makini said.

"Is it possible we took a wrong turn?" Fuli said.

"No, the tunnel was a straight path," Beshte said.

As Kion looks around he sees something move in the bush and someone jumps out in front of him. The lion guard get in a defensive position until they see it was another lion. 

"Hello welcome to the forest," She said nicely.

Fuli looked up and walked to get beside Kion

 "Who are you," Fuli asked.

"My name is Rani," she said introducing herself.

Kion looked at her and smiled,

"Hello, I'm Kion, and were the...." Kion said before getting interrupted.

"The Lion Guard" Rani jumped in finishing his sentence.

The guard looked at Rani confused,

"How did you know that," Bunga asked.

"The lions of the past of course," Rani said smiling.

"You can hear the lions of the past" Kion asked.

"Well, not exactly a friend of mine can," Rani said.

"Who is your friend," Beshte asked.

She is the healer at the tree of life" Rani told the lion guard.

"Could you help us get to the tree of life?" Kion asked

"Of course, follow me," Rani said leading the way.

"I didn't see the tree," Anga said.

"That's because you're not there yet, there is another cave we have to go through and at the end of it you will find an open field and the tree of life" Rani explained.

"Thanks for your help Rani" Kion said exchanging looks with Rani.

"No worries it's our job to help animals get to the tree of life," Rani said smiling as she nudges kion.

"Ours" Bunga questioned.

Rani looked around,

"Ok you guys can come out it's safe," Rani said.
