As Buku fell Fuli, Rani, and Kion noticed and were alarmed but they couldn't do anything becuase they kept coming. "we need to help Buku" Kion added as he was attacking Squirrels, as they continued gliding into the cave biting and scratching. "Good plan Kion but we can't, we're pined there are too many" Rani explained as she continued attacking. Fuli spiked her paw down smashing a squirrel down missing Rani, "They won't stop" Fuli advised as she stood with Kion and Rani. "Thanks, Fuli" Rani thankes noticing Fuli's save, "Anytime" Fuli replied smiling in support as they all fought together.

Squirrels kept coming walking over Buku but Buku's staff knocked them away and Buku was up he was hurt but he was still able to fight. Rani, Fuli, and Kion noticed and smiled as they ran up and joined Buku. The four of them had some injuries while on the other side Talon, Skip, and their army prepared, "TALON! SKIP! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS" Rani yelled demanding an answer. "ENOUGH TALK LETS END THEM" TALON BARKED, "YOU MAY HAVE ALMOST KILLED US BUT WE ARE STRONGER IN UNITY" Kion barked back as Fuli, Rani was behind him. Buku noticed and smiled seeing that, "PLEASE KION DON'T FLATTER YOURSELF WE OUTNUMBER YOU" Talon yelled as more squirrels appeared from bushes, tree, and gliding in the sky.

When Talon yelled that, four of his squirrels in the sky crashed into the ground knocked out. Everyone looked up as Anga and Ullu were attacking the squirrels in the sky. "It's ok brother an eagle and Owl won't stop us" Skip reassured. "TWENDE KIBOKO!!" Beshte yelled running from the trees into the squirrels knocking them away behind Beshte the rest of the Lion Guard followed and attacked. Buku, Fuli, Rani, and Kion smiled seeing Anga, Ullu, and The Lion Guard, "SKIP!" Baliyo yelled pouncing on Skip from behind, Talon turned and the Night Pride were here to and they joined the fight. "DON'T BACK DOWN FIGHT!!!!" Talon order furiously and at that moment all the squirrels attacked and the battle has begun.

A squadron of squirrels was gliding down to strike Fuli and Rani, as they both looked unprepared Kion slid in front of them facing the squirrels, "DON'T EVEN DARE!" Kion yelled and as Kion yelled clouds formed and the roar came out and the lions in the clouds could be seen as Kion roared those squirrels away. Fuli and Rani ran to Kion, "Thanks Kion" They thanked nuzzling Kion. Kion smiled and the three of them turned ready to fight. One the other side Makini, and Buku used their staff to fight off the squirrels, "Are you okay Buku?" "I'll live" Buku replied as he continued attacking. While Anga and Ullu attacked above the Lion Guard and Night Pride dealt with most of the ground assault.

"TIMBER!" Someone yelled as a tree fell crushing a squirrel, everyone looked and the rest of Buku's colony were here helping Buku. "FATHER!" Buku's son yelled running to Buku, Buku embraced his son as they hugged, "I'm fine" Buku promised as his son was relived. Talon was in the back seeing their hug, "If I can't kill Kion then I'll kill that dam beavers son" Talon promised to himself as he took out his claw that was sharp. Talon ran to get behind Buku's son so he could plunge his claw into Buku's son's back. As Kion slapped a squirrel down Kion saw Talon, "BUKU! WATCH OUT" Kion yelled as four squirrels jumped onto Kion. Buku looked over his son's shoulder and Buku turned his back so his son and him switched places and Buku's back was out, "Take care of the others son" Buku whispered kissing his son pushing him away. "DAD NOOO!" Buku's son yelled, Kion looked as he was stuck and his eyes widened from the sight he just saw. Talon's legs were on Buku's back as Talon's hand was in Buku's back, Everyone looked and couldn't believe their eyes. Talon pulled his claw out and fell back and as Talon removed his claw Buku fell to the ground and blood came out. Talon turned and started running away leaving his army.

Skip was pinned but Talon didnt care, "BROTHER!!!" Skip yelled. Talon just ran without looking back. Fuli and Rani ran after Talon as everyone else took care of the others, Scout attacked the squirrels on Kion and Kion was free but Kion ran to Buku. Buku's son was crying and Buku coughed, Kion slid in closer, "Buku" Kion called. Buku turned his head looking at Kion, "Kion, I'm glad your back I wish I could witness the rest of your journey" Buku stated. "Buku no" Kion denied as he was starting to cry, "Kion, promise me you won't let Fuli and Rani go they are really special to you and I hope you remember that" Buku explained. "I promise" Kion cried, Buku turned to his son, "Alex...You will be leader now...." Buku explained. "I....can't.....I...can't be you dad" Alex cried, "I don't want you to be me....I.....want....you....to...be better" Buku revealed. "And Alex.......Kion will need guidance.....Nirmala and Makini will need your help I taught you many things now it's your turn to share that news" Buku explained coughing. "What if I don't make you proud," Alex asked, Buku looked at Alex, "Alex...I'll always be proud of you" Buku added before his head fell back coughing. Alex bursted into tears as Kion was close, "Remeber what I told you Kion" Buku whispered as his eyes were closing. Kion bent closer to hear Buku, "Follow.....Your.....Heart" Buku told Kion before his head tilted and let out his last breath. Makini ran over and placed her ear on Buku's chest and looked up at Kion and Alex with tears, "He's Dead" Makini cried......
