Chapter 7 A Trip Down Memory Lane

Kion was still In the corner of the room staring at the guard confused and a little scared.

"Kion it's me Bunga," Bunga said as he approached trying to get his friend to remember him. 

"GET BACK" Kion yelled as he growled at Bunga.

Bunga quickly backed up. "What do we do Buku," Fuli asked as she looked at Buku.

" You have to remind Kion who he is," Buku said calmy. 

Feeling threatened, Kion looked at Buku and was preparing to attack him,  but before Kion did anything Fuli moved until she was in front of Buku, Fuli then looked at Kion in the eyes.

"Listen to me, I know you're confused and scared, I won't hurt you just stay calm and focus on my voice," Fuli said calmly standing at a good distance. Kion stopped for a moment to think about what Fuli said.

But, then Kion started to rub his scar and he started to feel pain.

"Oh no, not now," Makini said worriedly.

Bunga tried to approach Kion to try and help him, but Kion looked up and felt threated.

GET AWAY FROM ME!!!! Kion yelled as he roared, the roar of the ancestors started to form and Kion destroyed the wall behind the guard. 

But before the roar hit the wall everyone moved out of the way, but as everyone moved Fuli looked over in Kions direction and saw him run into the forest limping.

"ANGA FOLLOW HIM" Fuli ordered

"Got it, Anga Lenga" Anga replied as she flew up following Kion.

Buku quickly turned to look at the lion guard, Go!! find your friend and help him remember who he is, Buku said as his beavers started to repair the wall.

"Let's move everyone" Fuli ordered as she ran following Anga. 

Fuli and Anga started following Kion, while the rest of the guard tried to follow them.

"Do you see Kion?" Fuli asked Anga as she ran.

"I do straight-ahead Fuli... FULI we got a problem, there is a cliff up ahead and Kions running straight for it" Anhga said worriedly. 

"Huwezi" Fuli said as she bolted towards Kion.

But, Kion started to feel a jolt of pain rush to his leg causing him to fall. As he fell he started to roll towards the cliff and fell off the cliff.

"Nooooooo" Fuli yelled as she looked over the edge Kions was hanging onto a root with both paws.

"Kion take my paw," Fuli said as she reached her paw out, but Kion still was scared, and confused. 

"Kion look into my eyes," Fuli said

Kion looked at Fuli in the eyes.

'It's me Fuli the fastest, your Kion the fiercest, you're on a team called the lion guard we protect other animals and do what's right, we're more than just a team or friends, we're family and family helps family" Fuli said as she looked at Kion in the eyes.

Kion looked down and saw big and sharp rocks below. Kion was feeling like this was his end. Fuli noticed Kion looking down as she was trying to get his paw.

"Hey Kion look at me, focus on me  Kion," Fuli said.
Kion looked back at Fuli and saw her paw. "Now grab my paw Kion I'll pull you up," Fuli said trying to reach further.

Kion tried to but he couldn't reach "I....I...Can't" Kion said worriedly as he was losing his grip.

Yes, you can because you're the strongest Lion I've ever met we need you Kion......I need you. Fuli said staring into Kions eyes.
