Chapter 44 Buku's Guidance

After Mufasa and Janna left Buku was walking back, "How am I going to do this?" Buku asked himself. Buku was on his way back to the cave thinking about what Mufasa, and Janna said about Fuli, Rani, and Kion. As Buku returned the Lion Guard and Night Pride were about to leave to resume patrol. "See you later watch Kion while we're gone," Bunga said looking at the beavers, and Rani, and Fuli, they all waved as they left for patrols. Buku smiled and waved too and walked into the cave seeing both Rani and Fuli taking care of Kion as he slept with Nirmala and Makini sorting Buku's medicines. Buku walked past Fuli and Rani to Makini and Nirmala. "Oh Hey Buku" Makini greeted, Nirmala turned and greet Buku. Buku smiled and looked back to see Fuli and Rani making sure Kion looks comfortable.

"Something wrong Buku?" Nirmala asked, Buku looked back at Nirmala, "No just went to clear my head" Buku answered. Buku leaned in so he could whisper to Makini and Nirmala, "Could you two go into the forest and collect some Tuliza, Lotus, and Tulip plants" Buku asked. They both nodded and left the cave and now it was just Fuli, Rani, Kion, and Buku. Buku sat down watching Fuli and Rani lay don beside Kion, Fuli on the left and Rani on the right and Kion in the middle. They exchanged looks with Buku, "Fuli...Rani" Buku called quitely.  "What's wrong Buku" They both replied looking at Buku. "If you don't mind me asking. Why are you not mad at each other for both loving Kion?" Buku asked hesitantly. Rani and Fuli exchanged looks and smiled at Buku, "Well at first it was weird but we realized that if we work together" Fuli was starting to explain. "Working together doesn't just help us but working together would help Kion too" Rani finished Fuli's sentence.

Buku smiled hearing their answer, "That's amazing" Buku replied. Fuli and Rani looked at each other and smiled, "You two make a good team" Buku added. Rani and Fuli looked at each other as Buku said that, "We do don't we" Rani mentioned. "Your right we do, we both worried about Kion before oursleves" Fuli explained. Rani nodded in agreement and Buku smiled watching Fuli and Rani agree with each other statements. Fuli looks at Kion, "When do you think Kion will wake up, Buku?" Fuli asked. Buku looked at Fuli and Rani then Kion, "Kion has been through a lot but he will wake up just give him time" Buku advised. Fuli and Rani smiled and yawned, "You two have been through a lot you should rest" Buku explained to Fuli and Rani. Fuli and Rani look at Buku, "We'll wait for Kion" Fuli and Rani insisted. "Fuli...Rani... Kion is not going anywhere you two should rest so when Kion rest all three of you will be ready to talk" Buku suggested.

After some consideration, Fuli and Rani laid beside Kion and they closed their eyes slowy falling asleep. Buku smiled as he watched Fuli and Rani cuddle with Kion falling asleep, "Maybe Mufasa, and Janna were right after all" Buku told himself. Buku sat down beside his basket and organizing his things. After several minutes Kion was moving back and forth shaking his head and Buku could see it. "Fuli....Rani.....Stop" Kion mumbled, Buku eyes widened hearing Kion say these things. "Please Stop fighting" Kion mumbled again, Kion rolled and it woke up Fuli and Rani. Buku was about to step in but when he saw Fuli and Rani awake he did nothing. Fuli and Rani ran to Kion both with their paws on him. "Kion what's wrong," Fuli asked worriedly, "It's ok Kion was right here" Rani added. "STOP!" Kion yelled jumping up and hitting the cave wall, "KION!" Rani and Fuli shouted running to Kion.

As Buku watched Kion looked down and tears were forming into the ground, Kion looked up and stopped crying and ran to Fuli and Rani and hugged them. Fuli and Rani's ears rise up as Kion hugged them and cried on them, "I thought I lost you both" Kion cried, glad to see both Fuli and Rani fine. Fuli and Rani cried on Kion, "We thought we never see you again" Fuli and Rani cried on Kion. Fuli, Rani, and Kion cried on each other glad to see each other. Kion was happy to see Fuli and Rani, and Fuli and Rani were happy to see Fuli and Rani. Buku smiled as he watched all three reassure each other in the cave.
