Chapter 48 No More Playing Nice

As Talon, Skip and all the squirrels glided away Chase noticed and saw them all leave. "That's odd never seen so many flying squirrels leave at once," Chase told himself runing away to find and eat bugs. Chase saw a grasshopper and decided to chase it, "Come here little guy" Chase said running after the insect. Chase grabbed and eat it, "So good," Chase said crunching on the bug. "COME ON SKIP!" Talon yelled, Chase looked up and saw the squirrels in some kind of formation. "Coming brother" Skip replied gliding faster, "If we want to finish Kion, Fuli, and Rani we must all be in fomration" Ordered. Chase his in the grass as they passed over his head, "Finish of Kion, Fuli, and Rani.....that can't be good, I should tell the Night Pride" Chase told himself running to the tree of life.

As that happened in the cave Kion opened his eyes to feel Fuli and Rani both sleeping beside him and Kion smiled. As Kion looked up he saw Buku talking to the beavers and they all ran out of the cave heading somewhere in a rush. "Buku what happened?" Kion asked, Buku turned and saw Kion awake, "Oh Kion you're awake, Sorry if I woke you up it's just that one of the dams collasped so I sent all my beavers to fix it as soon as possible" Buku explained. "Shouldn't you go with them" Kion insisted. "I can't someone has to watch the three of you" Buku added cleaning up his workspace. Kion looked around, "What about Makini or Nirmala" Kion asked. Buku looked at Kion, "Well Nirmala had to go back to the tree of life to heal some injured animals and Makini wanted to join her" Buku explained.

Kion smiled looking at Fuli and Rani sleeping, "It's cute isn't it" Buku added. Kion looked at Buku, "What do you mean" Kion asked. "That look you gave them" Buku answered, Kion blushed and smiled. "If it makes you feel better they didnt sleep till they knew you were okay" Buku explained to Kion. Kion ears raise as Buku said that, "Anyway sit tight I'm going to get more water from the river nearby" Buku explained. Kion nodded as he rested his head, Buku smiled and walked out of the cave. Buku was headed to the river and above on the hill was Talon and Skip. "So we attack Now" Skip asked, "No!" Talon snapped. Everyone looked at Talon, "You heard the beaver he's the only one here we wait till he's almost back and we take him out then we finish the job" Talon explained. All the squirrels shaprned their claws on the rocks as they all sat waiting till Talon gave the command.
