JUGHEAD POV

I had gone to the bathroom during class. I washed my hands and I was still thinking about the play. I can't memorize my lines on my own. It was too much of a struggle without help. I walked out of the bathroom and walked down the hallway. All my prayers were answered when I saw Betty standing at her locker.

"Betty!" I shouted as I walked over to her. I looked around to make sure nobody was standing around to see me be talking to her. I have a reputation. Betty just scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"What do you want, Jones? I've known you for more than half of my life and you're never the first one to come up and make fun of me."

"I need help with my lines." I said. Betty shut her locker and looked at me stunned.

"Jughead Jones wants me to help him? That's such an honor."

"I know. Can you help?"

"Yep...I'll pray for you." Betty nodded and walked away. I went after her and I was still drilling her about helping me with lines.

"Betty, please-"

"You've obviously never asked anyone for help before. It can't be just for you. It has to be for the common good of everyone."

"It is for the common good! Kevin Keller deserves the best Donny Wikks. Just, please help me." I sighed. Betty stopped walking and stood in front of me. She sighed and nodded.

"Fine. But on one condition though, Jones." Betty said and I shrugged.

"Ok, what is it?"

"You have to promise you won't fall in love with me."

"Yeah, that's not gonna be a problem." I scoffed. I wasn't going to fall in love with her and that's for sure. She's not my type anyways and she's so needy.

"Awesome! I'll see you at my house after school." She said walking away. I can't be seen going to her house so now I was gonna have to find a way to avoid everyone seeing me go there as well.
