JUGHEAD POV

It has now been 5-years and I sometimes still see Betty. I was coming home to Riverdale after being away at college. I decided to go to Pastor Cooper's house. I was getting so many memories. I knocked on the door and a woman answered. Pastor Cooper had remarried to a beautiful woman named Karen.

"Hi Mr. Jones! Please, come in!" Karen exclaimed. I walked inside the house and looked around. This reminds me of the first time I went to Betty's house to rehearse lines. I sat down on the couch and Karen disappeared into the kitchen. Pastor Cooper walked in the living room and he had a bright smile on his face. He sat down in his chair and we shook hands.

"Hello Jughead, how's it been?"

"I survived pre-med. I'm now going to Yale University to go to Medical school." I nodded.

"I heard about that from your mother. Karen and I are so proud of you...Betty would've been proud too." Pastor Cooper sighed. I reached into my bag and pulled out Betty's book. I handed it to Pastor Cooper and he seemed confused.

"Is this Betty and Alice's book?" He asked. I nodded and he weakly smiled. "Thank you."

"I'm sorry Betty never got her miracle." I said. Her father chuckled and shook his head.

"She did...it was you." He said. Pastor Cooper and I talked a little longer and then I left the house. I got in my car and drove to the docks. It walked out onto the docks and leaned against the railing while looking out onto the water. This is where Betty and I had our first kiss.

Betty saved my life. She saved me from a dangerous future. She taught me how to
be kind and be fair. I'll always miss her and I'll always love her. But our love is like the wind, I can't see the love, but I feel it.
