BETTY POV

I woke up to the sound of construction outside. I weakly walked over to the window and saw Jughead outside building something. I don't know why, but I didn't feel good. I felt super dizzy and I was having a hard time standing up.

"Betty, what's that boy doing in the yard?" Dad shouted. He came into my room. I turned to look at him and he seemed really concerned.

"Daddy-"

"Betty, what's the matter?" Dad asked. I don't remember anything else. All I remember is me just collapsing on to the floor.

JUGHEAD POV

I sat next to Betty's hospital bed. She was very pale. He was wearing an oxygen tube and had an IV in her arm. She was at Stage-4 Leukemia and the doctors said that Betty has less than a year to live.

"Jughead, why don't you head home-" Pastor Cooper said walking into the room.

"No. I'm not leaving her." I said coldly.

"I just want Betty to get some good sleep and you deserve sleep. Also, what were you building in the front yard?"

"Don't tell Betty, but I'm building a telescope. Betty said she really wanted to see this comet coming in about a week and she needs a better telescope. Pastor Cooper, you should head home. I'm sure you're exhausted and it's a Monday night." I nodded.

"What about school?" He asked.

"I have a couple more free days. Seriously, get some sleep." I said. Pastor Cooper left and closed the door behind him. I got in the bed with Betty and just cuddled next to her. She's amazing and I'm not leaving her side until she wakes up.
