JUGHEAD POV
After going out with friends the next night, I had to drive home. I was using my Mom's mini van because my car was damaged. It was currently being fixed by. I was focused until I saw someone walking into the graveyard. I couldn't help but look over. Betty was going into the cemetery. I pulled over to the side of the road and parked. I got out of the car and ran over to Betty.
"Hey!" I exclaimed. She turned around and seemed genuinely confused to see me. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I could ask you the same thing."
"Do you always walk around in the cemetery at 10:30PM? Where are you going?"
"Follow me, Jones." She smiled. I followed Betty to where she was going. She went to a gravestone with a telescope. I looked at the gravestone.
"Alice Cooper"
Alice Cooper is Betty's mother. Well, was Betty's mother.
"Nice telescope."
"Thank you. I built it when I was 11. I'm planning on building a better one so I can see the planets clearer. Take a look."
"Ok." I said and look through the telephone. I saw a planet that was a little far away. It was quite impressive though. I pulled away from the telescope and nodded.
"That's Jupiter. I think it's really cool that you're interested in all of this stuff." I nodded. Betty seemed confused again and she shook her head.
"This stuff? I have my beliefs and my faith. Don't you?"
"No, there's too much bad crap in this world."
"Without suffering there'd be no compassion."
"Well, tell that to those who suffer." I said looking over at her. She scoffed and shook her head. She looked through her telescope and gave a smile. Maybe she wasn't as bad as I thought she was.
