JUGHEAD POV

That morning, I dropped off flowers at the Cooper house. A few bouquets of Roses, Tulips, Lilies, Daisies, and Petunias. I went home after dropping off the flowers and decided to make some minor touches on my car. I was just working in my front yard. I heard footsteps and I closed the lid of the car. I saw Betty just standing there. She was wearing the sweater that I bought her with a white shirt underneath it and a pair of blue jeans.

"I'm sorry, Juggie. I should've told you sooner." Betty shook her head but seemed calm.

"It's all my fault. I kept you out too long and made you do too many things-"

"You only kept me healthy longer."

"Are you scared?" I gulped and asked her. She shrugged and gave a weak smile.

"To death." Betty said. I felt tears in my eyes and looked away from her. Betty giggled and then walked over to me. She put her hand on my face and gave a big smile. "Jughead! Lighten up!"

"It's not funny." I groaned. Betty's smile faded and she removed her hand. She put her forehead against mine and then removed her forehead as well. She had tears in her eyes.

"I'm scared of not being with you and you not wanting to be with me." Betty cried. I shook my head and put my hands on her face.

"Baby, that'll never happen." I said. I pulled her in and we hugged tightly. I'm not leaving her and she knows that.
