Chapter 34: Stone*

"I'll forever be in your service, Princess" Korrena was kneeling to me on the balcony of the Tower of Mastery. I waved my hands, wanting her to stop.

"Y-You don't have to do that!" I whined.

"You're a princess, it's only natural" she giggled "I officially recognize you ask my master. I am no longer part of the council, but remain a leader who protects those in this city. If there were a vampire that dares to hurt anyone on my watch, I will take care of it and report it to you" Korrena stood back up. I nodded.

"Thank you. I'm looking forward to hearing from you" she smiled and looked at her Lucario looking up at her. She gently pet its head, happy to still have it by her side "I'm glad you're doing better. Your white blood cells are gone since you no longer carry the demon blood in your system due to taking a weekly dose, but you have my royal blood within you to keep your heart from overtaking darkness again. I'm not completely covered in royal blood, so you don't have much protection" she nodded.

"Yes, Master" I sighed.

"Just call me Serena, will yah?" She smiled and handed over a box "huh?"

"Serena, I'd like to give this to you" I took the box confused "I will never be able to succeed mega evolution even if I have a heart now. No matter what, a vampire cannot bond with a Pokémon like you can. Not even the queen herself can do so. I'm happy enough to gain the trust of my Pokémon, but I will never be able to use that stone my grandpa gave me. You should be able to use it no problem" she looked at Riolu standing in front of her "My Riolu seem to gain a shine to you. If you are able to evolve him through friendship, you'll be able to mega evolve him pretty soon" I looked at Riolu smiling at me "I insist"

"You're giving me your Pokémon?"

"Why not? You should have as many Pokémon as you can to get stronger. You may be strong, but you need all the support you can get. I support you 100 percent!" She smiled big "I'll die for you! After all, you helped me live! You are my master! My princess! I have no regrets!" I frowned and looked in the box, seeing a key stone for mega evolution. I was surprised to know that she was giving this to me, but even more surprised that this was the same size as the black stone I dropped off at the... jewelry shop.

"Dad's ear piece..." I frowned "I can't believe I forgot it" I looked at Korrena still smiling at me "Thank you for the keystone. I'll take care of it..." I bowed to her.

"Whoa! Whoa!" Korrena panicked "N-No! Don't do that!" I stood up and giggled.

"Until we meet again, Korrena" she calmed down and nodded.

"Take care, princess" I looked at Riolu walking up to me. I took out a empty Pokéball "and take care of Riolu" I tossed the ball and captured a new friend. I didn't think I'd get another so soon.

"See yah later!" I waved and left the balcony.

"By the way!" I stopped to look at her "You have some of my white blood cells. It won't be wise to use it. The reason why it was white is because of the demon blood. There is darkness in that stuff. Nothing good will come from it" I nodded.

"I'll keep it in mind" I left to the exit where my friends were waiting for me.

"There you are!" Shauna held her hips "I was about to go up there if you didn't come sooner!"

"I'm fine! I'm fine!" I grabbed Xavier's hand, surprising him "Where are we heading to next?"

"We need to head back to Lumiose city" Trevor said. Xavier and I frowned at each other "We need to report this as soon as possible"

"Right"

"I'm sure it won't be so bad" Shauna told me "but I don't know about X here" Xavier sweat dropped, expecting the worse. We took a bus all the way back to the big city and went straight to the academy, where I'm afraid of admitting to what happened to Augustine. What will he think? Will he agree to my wish?
