Chapter 35: Chamber*

After awhile of waiting for our punishments to come, the two of us suffered in a whole interesting way. We were taken to the same chamber we locked Alexa in and were locked in there like we were prisoners.

The both of us were wearing a straining jacket that locked our arms into the rest of the coat we were wearing. I suffered differently than what Xavier experienced. He was given a wound to set off my senses. I screamed and groaned at the desire to have it. I moved and shouted so much and it left me exhausted, leaving Xavier to look at me with eyes full of hurt, pained to hear me like this in the pitch darkness. It was a punishment without being a punishment. We weren't exactly hurt, but he suffered emotionally while I suffered out of hunger.

For a few days of suffering this torture, the holy nurse that we knew, along with a regular nurse, walked into the chambers to turn the lights on.

I had a clearer view of Xavier sobbing in his corner. I calmed down my hunger a long time ago, knowing I wouldn't be able to do anything. Hearing him sobbing was worse enough...

"I'm sure you two learned your lesson" the nurse said "Whatever you did, you know to not do it again, or else the punishment will worsen"

"Feel free to head to your room for anything. You're free to leave" the holy nurse said "Your friends have left Lumiose for a mission, so freshen up and get some rest until you're well enough to go back to work" I nodded and walked out with Xavier holding my hand, since he had a hard time seeing at the moment.

"My room is closer. Let's go there" I said, heading straight to the room Augustine gave me awhile back "I could really go for a shower. I'll let you take one first if you want"

"I'll be fine. I still need to adjust to the natural light again" he said. I unlocked my door and went up my my nightstand, looking at my jewelry box and my keystone piece laying there from the time I left it here.

"Probably should had gathered some clothes for you" I had almost forgotten that he left his bag here before we were suddenly taken. He had clothes inside ready for him "I'll shower now. Don't try to peak" I joked.

"Couldn't do it even if I wanted to" he smirked. I rolled my eyes and walked into the restroom with my own clothes.

I washed the days worth of filth I've obtained in that chamber and walked out with my hair feeling really light and bouncy. Xavier was on the floor, reading my dads journal.

"You know" I took the book from him "It's rude to read someone else's journal. This is my dads"

"Oh, sorry. I was hoping I picked up the other book" he looked over at the mega evolution book "I couldn't really see much" he admit "I hope you don't mind that I read something I was able to see"

"What was that?"

"We lived in a world before vampire blood was used for medical practice. The world was so much more peaceful, yet there was always conflict" he held his chin "You always comment on something like that. That there was a time before we used vampire blood for healing. What do you think will happen if all vampires suddenly disappeared?" I sat in front of him "As I killed Grant, I never thought about the world. I only thought about you being taken from me"

"Xavier..." he dug in his bag and took out a badge.

"do you really think this plan will work..? I mean, bonding with the leaders sounds way more safe, but that would mean we will be keeping alive murders"

"Who will have a change of heart. They'll be able to have dreams and no longer will attack people"

"What about if they're hungry?" I looked down "You jump me when you're hungry... they will too"
