Chapter 59: Crown*

I hissed harshly at my new opponent enough to make me arch my back and get ready to attack her without a plan written. I was so ready to jump her for what she did to my friend and Pokemon that I couldn't control my actions. Wulfric caught me before I bounced onto her like a wild Pokémon.

"Oh, look who happened to drop by" Drasna smiled sweetly. Of course it was fake. The leaders that weren't Valerie and Olympia didn't catch on and were just standing confused on her sweet smile "Princess. Welcome home"

"It's not my home until you leave" I hissed, trying to kick myself away from Wulfric's hold "You bitch! I'll make sure you suffer the most! Stop smiling! I know what you're all about!" She put her hands together.

"You know what I'm about? I do so much for the community and this is what I get for helping?" She frowned "I donate to various blood banks almost all the time. You look at me like I'm a criminal"

"There's still so many shadows in those hallways! You think I'm going to believe you're not one?!" I glared at Wulfric to intimidate him to putting me down. He released me almost immediately so I can't stand in front of Drasna "You're the only one left, yet there's still so many shadows that are hurting my army! I won't hesitate to take you down! Gardevoir!" She levitated the water around us like a thin wall with some light shining through "There's nowhere to run now" Drasna giggled.

"Oh please. You think I'll run away. I was a commander in my old life. I wouldn't run from a battle" She send out her dragon type Pokémon. I was taken back by this. I didn't expect her to use her Pokémon against me. I didn't have the type disadvantage, not to mention I'm one Pokémon short!

"I'll handle this" Valerie send out her fairy type Pokémon. Is that really okay..?

"What? The princess herself doesn't want to battle me after all she's done? You're letting others do your battles?" Drasna tapped her chin.

"Shut up!" Valerie hissed "We're here so we can assist her! Who are you to have the right to make her think she has to do this on her own!? She's done enough for us! Trying to give us our freedom! You're the last one we have to handle, so don't question it and battle me!" I gulped, not feeling right about this.

"Valerie..." I frowned. She ignored me and started the battle. No matter how much she tried beating Drasna, even if she had the stronger typing, she still managed to lose. Every other leader tried too, and failed. My hands were shaking. I couldn't get myself to pray.

"In the name of our alpha..." I bit my lips "In the name of our alpha" Drasna laughed at me and jumped to swipe her claws at me. I was quick enough to dodge only by a centimeter. I fell back and crawled away when she tried kicking her heels against me. Gardevoir splashed a large amount of water on her to make her stop. She screamed and jumped out the way as I got up and leaned against a wall. Everyone had their share of trying to fight her off, but what makes her so much faster than the other demons?

A cold chill blew pass me after Gardevoir floated in front of me. I looked around confused, feeling like there was someone right beside me. When I turned to see, there was no one there. Someone touched the back of my shoulders, even if I was leaning on the wall.

"This is ridiculous" Drasna snorted "You really think I can be taken down by you? You all got your bondage from a half breed! Even if you are naturally bonded with the queen, your fresh dose is nothing but basically watered down! You can't do anything against me! Why are you bothering to protect a useless source of life that was not suppose to be born in the first place?!" she shouted at everyone. I took a deep breath and leaned away from the wall, feeling the invisible hands hold me back.

"Don't..." a familiar voice spoke to me "Don't go... you can still survive" my eyes watered at which I recognized this voice to be "Didn't you leave to be free..?"
