In the middle of the desert in the early morning, Xavier and I were dealing with a sudden Team Flare vampire who was guarding the entrance to the power plants for unknown reasons. He insisted on staying where he was, even if I ordered him to come and face me. I had almost forgotten that these people wouldn't listen to my spell, otherwise I would had snapped again if I didn't realize that these people were a special case.

"He's working my last nerve..." I glared, watching Xavier battling against him to get him out the way of the entrance he was guarding. I looked at my hands at the dagger he threw at me when I made a perfect strike to his neck. It made me angry at the fact that it did nothing but make him sleepy, and he was clearly fighting it back.

"My own blood didn't even make him care about me" I glared at the dagger, slowly starting to squeeze it "Who are these people?" I accidentally snapped the dagger and let it fall onto the sand.

"Dammit!" Xavier shouted, quickly returning his Pokémon and turning to me "Y! Switch!" A strong gust blew pass us, making me cover my eyes as much as I could. Because it was so windy, I had no choice but to remove my contacts.

"Got it!" I threw out Kirlia's pokeball "Let's go, Kirlia! Use Psychic!" I kept fighting back my erg to attack the guy, but I'm strictly instructed to play fair when the vampire corporates with a battle first. The daggers keeps me from flying at others, especially since these Team Flare weirdos won't listen to me even if my blood is inserted into them. The daggers may keep me from jumping regular vampires, but the Flare grunts make it too difficult.

The guy was too drugged out to properly handle the battle anymore, making me victorious. Normally when a regular vampire loses, they lose their sanity and jump at the trainer who beat them, and honestly I wish he did that, but he just scoffed and raised his arms.

"I don't care if I lost! I'm not going anywhere! You're not getting pass me!" My body was shaking in anger.

"Calm down, Yannie" Xavier whisperer "Don't let your emotions get the better of you" I had to take that to consideration. These vampires may just have a purpose I don't know about. Instead of snapping like I expected to do before, I took a deep breath and walked up to the vampire's face "Yannie!" Xavier panicked.

"Don't worry, I got this" I took another deep breath to make sure I was calm enough and faced the vampire looking a bit nervous.

"Do you hate me that much?" I questioned. He looked confused, staring at my lips talking "So much that you can't look at me as the person who is trying to save you?" He didn't say anything, just watched me. I frowned and lifted my hands to hold his face. He froze at the touch.

"Look at my eyes" I demanded softly. He stared, but made no reaction to the color "Nothing else matters. Look at me. What do you see?" I got a bit frustrated when he didn't answer, but it's okay. I need to learn how to be patient.

"Please... I'm willing to listen. I care about you and my people. Don't toss me to the side and ignore me!"

"Willing... to listen..?" He asked softly "Your touch... so powerful" I rested my forehead on his.

"Are you bonded with anyone?" I asked.

"No..." these vampires are hard to understand. He is not that willing to corporate with me, so I don't know if he's lying "I only serve our leader"

"Who is your leader?" He hesitated for a bit "I won't push you" I sighed "Will you at least tell me what you see?" I moved my head back to make him look at my eyes. His own held an innocent softness to them, a kind that has the erg to fight against something. It's difficult to explain, but it seems that he's struggling "What can you see in my eyes?"
