"It happened 3,000 years ago. The Ulimate weapon was used to put an end to the war in an instant" Xerosic told the story I already knew about "If we use that incredible power, we can finally free Kalos of the foolish humans that plague it!"
"You've got to be kidding me! If you're someone who believes that killing others will only benefit you selfish people, you're the ones that plagues this world!" He shook his head and pointed at each button on a machine.
"If you think so, I'll give you the option. Behind me you'll find a red button and a blue button. One of them is the button for activating the Ulimate weapon. Push one now!" He laughed "You'll see that even you plague the earth, even if you believe it's the other way around! It's your choice now, Princess" I looked at my hand going numb "come on! Push one!"
I was building up a cold sweat as I looked at each button over and over. Learning from my tv experience, a red button always activates something. If I press the blue button, there may be a chance this all can just be over...
Shaking, I slowly pressed the blue button and looked around to see if anything happened. Nothing. This made Xerosic laugh "ah! You pressed the blue switch! Winner, winner! Congratulations!" W-What's that suppose to mean..? "But I'm still going to activate the Ulimate weapon!"
"W-What?!"
"I know the boss promised that we wouldn't if you pushed the correct button, but I refuse to let the potential go to waste!" He lifted up a button from his pocket that was wired with the machine that had the red button on it.
"No! Make one more step and I'll kill you!" I glared.
"Oh? And what's that going to do? You'll be exactly who you've been fighting against. You are part of this plagued world... You will be taken out" he clicked the button before I had the chance to move. I was holding my numb hand in pain, watching him laughing over his lungs and look at the screen above us "Look! Look!" I slowly looked up to see Geosenge town, the town I had a weird feeling about...
The three middle pillars in the center of the town were starting to shake and suddenly dived down to the ground. Minutes went by and another structure stabbed its way up to the surface. My knees went weak as I recognized what it was.
"The flower mom warned me about..." I cupped my mouth, watching the large rocks that tumbled out the ground and land by a few houses, tilting over to the side. The Ulimate weapon rose from the ground with its shining glory... It was horrific, especially when it started blooming with sudden light coming from the center before it finally landed on the ground. I shouted loudly, finding my body to quickly grab Xerosic and pin him on the wall.
"H-How dare you!? Do you have any idea how many people you've hurt with just activating that thing!?" I hissed. All he did was laugh "so you think it's funny?!"
"It's reborn! The poisonous flower has bloomed!" He was insane! "All shall perish! Except for Team Flare!" I stared at him before smirking, knowing something he didn't. He froze when he saw this.
"All but Team Flare? You must be joking... The only ones who will not perish are those who are able to insert the key into the structure. My grandfather and my mother were in that machine when the Ulimate weapon burst in the air and stopped the war. You think all of Team Flare will fit in that machine?"
"W-What?! N-No! That's not what-"
"Serena!" I looked at Sina and Dexio running in on me choking out this luniatic "Serena! Drop the man!" I dropped him without a care and faced the two. Sina was cautious, but Dexio stood confidently in front of her "Everyone has reported to Geosenge Town! Many of the hunters are sent here to take the remaining members into custody in the academy while the rest are working to find a way to get around Geosenge town!"
