Flora gets off Lucero pushing on his chest while staring at his shoulder, all these revelation makes her tired and sad. Shaking her head, she tries to collect her thoughts before their eyes met.

"And here I thought he loves me, no matter what his decisions and under table works were, I always believed he loved me because we are all we have as a family after mom but..." Flora shrugs her shoulder not having any words to say about anything before she slides and lie on top of him with her head on his chest.

"Hey, you have a family, me and the kids" he tries to assures her but she shakes her head no.

"He is my father he is supposed to be standing between me and the world to make sure that I..." she closes her eyes as she takes a deep breath before slowly opening her eyes.

"He is standing between me and the world, a world full of happiness" she whispers before she ducks her head and puts it under Lucero's chin holding onto him.

"I wish I could tell you all the right things to make it better but I do not have any" he confesses running his hand behind her back while she sighs turning her head and staring in his eyes.

"I don't want you to tell me right things Luc, I want you to tell me things, true things that is all I ask of you" her words makes him smile softly as he caresses her cheek making her close her eyes as she feels his tender touch.

"I love you" his words snap her eyes open and she stares at him wondering if she heard him correctly.

"Luc" she whispers when he says nothing but just stares at her face.

"Right. You need your rest, we have a big day tomorrow, it's going to be busy. We have three meetings, one of which will be with the investors, another with the shareholders before we deal with our partners...

And you will have to be in all of those..." she covers his mouth with her palm stopping his babbles as she keeps staring at his eyes.

"You said something" she states and he blinks before pushing her hand away.

"The investors..."

"Do not make me repeat those words and make me feel stupid Luc" she pleads before he stretches his neck and drops a kiss on the tip of her nose.

"I love you and that is not the worst thing you have ever heard, so do not feel stupid" he speaks and she touches her forehead with his closing her eyes and breathing in relief.

"It's you" she whispers after a while.

"What?" Lucero asks in confusion before she smiles and sits up in his lap making him sit straight.

"You, it has always been you, who made it easier for me to stay, every year when you brought those boys in, I hated you...

Because you were taking a part of me away from me and because unconsciously, I was giving it away attaching myself to those three...

But every night when I thought you were spending your time with her, you were in your office, working and there were times I found you walking out of your office in the morning all tousled and barely awake making me wonder why you never went to her at nights...
