Chapter 15

Flora pushes Lucero's hands away from her face as she shifts a bit to stare at him still confused and shocked at what he just said.

"The boys" she starts.

"Are asleep so don't worry" he replies as he hands her the spoon once again and Flora frowns as she continues to eat without any word.

Lucero puts the tray away before he hands her a glass of water and her medicines.

"Are you feeling dizzy or any pain? Is it bearable?" he asks.

"I am fine, it's not so bad" she speaks.

"The bruise will take few days to fade" he sighs as he stares at her bruise and Flora touches her cheek.

"Yeah" she sighs before her eyes land on his bandaged hand.

"If you did not beat me then how are your hands bruised?" she frowns as she stares at him in doubt and Lucero raises his hand making her shrink a bit as she closes her eyes.

Flora slowly opens her eyes to see what he was doing only to find him opening his bandage before he puts it on her bruised cheek.

"My palms are bigger than the print on your face so the theory about me raising my hands on you is null. Also, your own father is a strong alibi on the fact that I was on a meeting with him when everything happened with you" he explains before Flora bites on her lower lip with her brows furrowed.

"So, you really have a twin?" she asks.

"And I will be grateful if you did not talk about it to anyone" he requests.

"Why would I do anything to make you feel grateful, you ungrateful husband" she dares as she feels her strength back.

"Ungrateful?" he asks raising his brow but before he could say more Leon and Liam's shouts along with Lance cry stops him.

"This is mine" Liam shouts as he runs inside of the room clutching few bags of chips as he climbs on the bed and snuggles closer to Flora.

"Learn to share" Leon's shout follows as the boys walks with Lance hanging on his arms before Lucero grabs the both of them.

"I thought they never woke up once in bed" Lucero frowns.

"I got hungry" Leon pouts as he points at Liam.

"And he too before he ran away with all the chips"

"No, you ate your share" Liam shouts as he grabs Flora's arm.

"It's was just one chip, one" Leon grumbles.

"I was more hungry" Liam defends before he touches Flora's face and pouts.

"I slept without eating dinner" he informs her and Flora sighs as she pulls her arms out for Lance who cries as he gets in her arms.

"We all are going to have dinner, now calm down" she soothes the boy before Liam gets up angry.

"Hug me" he demands to Flora who shakes her head at the boy's behavior.

"Did you share the chips with your brothers?" she asks, and he frowns.

"If you cannot share than how can you expect them to share with you?" she asks and the boy bows his head down.

"They are your brothers, you should share with them" Flora smiles as she pulls the boy in her arms.

"I don't like sharing" he mumbles burying his face on her neck as he pushes Lance's head away from her.
