hangover. [jaewin]

it was a quiet night. only the tv sound filled the serene, cold atmosphere. sicheng was watching a 90's horror film all alone in his house. usually he never watches horror stories by himself since he's too scared. but since his friends are all busy, he has no choice.

back then, he would watch it with his boyfriend [now his ex]. his boyfriend would chuckle and comfort him every time he feels terrified. he would cuddle up with him to make him feel better.

it felt nice when it lasted.

to be honest, he was getting sleepy. he yawned for the nth time and his eyes felt heavy. maybe because it was freezing cold. or because the film wasn't exciting at all. either way, he switched the tv off and went to his room.

he got on his bed and curled up with his blanket. it was really cozy and comforting to sleep with your fuzzy blanket in this cold weather. he was about to fall asleep when his phone vibrated. he groaned so loudly.

a call from johnny. weird, why did he called the chinese at this hour? he must be arguing with taeil or something.

" hello ?" he called out as he picked up.

" si—sicheng ." the caller paused as he hiccups. " I miss you ."

sicheng froze. it wasn't johnny's voice. he knew the voice very well. the same voice that used to call him every mornings and nights, saying sweet nothings to make his heart flutter. the same voice that confessed to him three years ago.

jung yoonoh.

he took a deep breathe. he waited for a few moment before replying. he's not really into the idea of talking with his ex. but he doesn't wants to leave him hanging. it's rude.

" jaehyun? why are you using johnny's phone ?"

" that's not important~~~ I said I miss you~ are you ignoring me ?~" jaehyun said in a singsongy tone. " I'm alone right now. johnny left me ~"

" are you drunk ?"

" mhm, no—"

before he could finish his words, johnny took the phone away from him. he pouted and tried to take it back, but the taller pushed him away. he was too drunken to fight back.

" I'm sorry for that, sicheng. he's totally wasted right now, that's why he's saying nonsense. he won't leave the bar until he meets you. it's annoying ."

sicheng gulped. jaehyun is a pretty heavy drinker. he must drank lots to be this drunk. but they broke up two months ago. why is this happening now, just when he was about to go to sleep?

he sighed. jaehyun is the only man ever that could ruin his sleep schedule.

" give me 10 minutes. I'll get there ."

the chinese hung up. he got up from his bed and took his jacket. after sliding it on, he took his keys and phone. he was really sleepy and doubts if he could drive properly, but it's for jaehyun.

well, maybe he'll get caffeine on the way.

the bar.

as soon as he got out from his car, the familiar strong smell of alcohol hit his nostrils. he instantly cringed. he hates the smell with passion. that's why he rarely drinks.

he got into the bar. it wasn't crowded since it was a tuesday night. so he spotted his ex boyfriend and johnny with ease. the taller was trying to shut jaehyun up because he was whining too much.

johnny was right. it's annoying, even for sicheng.

" no, I don't wanna leave. I wanna see my sicheng ~~~"
