jaehyun pulled off when he parked his car on taeyong's lawn. as he got out, he was greeted by the awful smell of alcohol and pukes. but he's used to it already. high schoolers and college students' parties could be reckless sometimes.

especially if it's at taeyong's place. that guy knows everyone (somehow) but jaehyun's his best friend. that's why he got invited to all of his parties. even if taeyong forgot to invite him, he'll come either way.

you could say they both are pretty well-known. but they're polar opposites since taeyong likes to do crazy things while jaehyun just wants to sleep all the time. he's not an introvert and he fits in easily, but he doesn't wants to socialize unlike his friend.

he got passed a few (gross) couples kissing outside and finally went inside. the music was loud and the chatters were even louder. he spotted a few guys he knows.

johnny, the women's (and even men's) magnet. he's the third in command after taeyong and jaehyun. taeyong's little brother, mark with his high school squad. jaehyun doesn't know why they're allowed to stay up this late but oh well.

then there's the no-hate-just-shade and no-printer-just-fax tea master, chittaphon leechaiyapornkul. or ten for short. jaehyun's gotta admit that's he's pretty hot and laid back. he even considered dating him. but ten has that habit to talk shit about his exes to everyone so he forgot he even thought of it.

" jae, dude, there you are !"

he turned to the voice and saw taeyong who was, surprisingly, sober. but he won't be for long. he always gets wasted and wakes up with a migraine at noon the next day.

" taeyong. what's with the red hair? you look weird ."

" this, my friend, is the latest trend. besides, kun will come tonight so I have to dress-to-impress !"

jaehyun rolled his eyes. taeyong had been obsessing over the chinese guy in their class, qian kun for a while now. it's a surprise that the guy is coming to his party, because he showed absolutely no interest in taeyong before.

maybe he just came to shut taeyong up. who knows. or maybe for the snacks because taeyong's pretty loaded and he spent them all on food.

" anyways. where's sicheng ?"

it was taeyong's turn to playfully roll his eyes. sicheng is jaehyun's boyfriend for about six months now. he's not really a social butterfly. but because he is dating taeyong's best friend, he had automatically became taeyong's best friend.

" your lover boy is waiting for you at the rooftop, romeo. he was quieter tonight than he usually is. did you guys fought ?"

jaehyun left for the rooftop without answering the older's question. sicheng becomes even quieter only when he's sad. he could sense something made his boyfriend upset all day long and it got him worried.

who knows his instincts were right all along.

as he got on the roof, he saw the said boy sitting on the table by himself. he was stargazing. the night's sky was clear and you could see the beautiful stars. not to mention the cold breeze. the situation gave off some romantic vibes.

jaehyun took his jacket off and put it on the younger. sicheng turned around and smiled when he saw his boyfriend. then, the latter sat beside him.

" you'll catch a cold, babe. what are you doing up here alone ?"

" waiting for you ."

" you should've waited downstairs. I don't want you to get sick ."

" it's too loud. and you know I hate socializing. so I sat here. why were you late ?" the chinese asked, changing the subject.
