as soon as sicheng gets out from his car, a swarm of paparazzi rush to him almost immediately. microphones are shoved to his face, camera shutters going off nonstop, and he would've been blinded by the flashes if he's not wearing sunglasses. his manager does his best to get him through, and sicheng doesn't answer a single question as he dashes right into the building. he doesn't even bat a single eyelid at them.

the building is big. most of its doors and elevators are made of see-through glass; security guards standing on every crook and hook of the building. every staffs he walks past bows at him, yet sicheng only flashes a smile back, too busy to care. he has something more important to attend right now.

star, which stands for 'seoul television and radio network', is south korean's biggest broadcasting company owned by jang eunpil, but the man has handed it over to his granddaughter, jang seungyeon two years ago. star is also widely known for its top quality dramas and films, featuring only the best national artists.

last month, star revealed they're going to work on another drama series that will be premiered worldwide. sicheng is accepted as one of the male leads – and his manager couldn't resist the golden opportunity.

when he gets to the press conference hall, it's even more crowded as expected. a woman comes to greet him, the jang seungyeon herself, a bright smile on her beautiful red lips as she shakes hands with sicheng. the cameras never stop clicking.

" welcome, mister dong ," she says. " it's a great pleasure to work with you. I'm a fan ."

he flashes his signature one-million-dollar smile, tiny dimples on view. " I'm glad, miss jang. and the pleasure's all mine ."

seungyeon is a great woman. she's shorter than sicheng is, but the way she walks with so much confidence and the fierceness in her eyes make everyone bow down to her. despite having an intimidating exterior, she's actually very easy-going and has a great sense of humour.

seungyeon ushers sicheng to his seat and sicheng's smile falters when he spots him. he's dressed in a black suit, bringing his facial features out, looking somewhat soft yet also sharp. he glances to sicheng when the chinese sits down next to him, and averts his attention somewhere else as if sicheng's presence doesn't bother him at all. or maybe it does. albeit not in a good way.

kim doyoung, another great actor of the century, also will be starring as one of sicheng's love interest in the upcoming drama.

and the medias love it. they absolutely love it when two of the most talented artists in the field get thrown together into the same drama, especially as love interests. the duo who fans always ship or eager to see them together, or at least work together, to create juicy gossips and rumours.

especially when they're ex-husbands – like sicheng and doyoung themselves.

the press conference starts smoothly with subtle questions, and sicheng's grateful for that. usually he's never intimidated by the media because he knows he holds more power than they do, being born in a wealthy family and as a prodigy, but today, with his former husband sitting next to him, he feels like the weight of the entire room is being pressed down onto his shoulders. he hasn't seen doyoung for two years and he never expects to reunite this way.
