homesick. [taewin]

sicheng sighed slowly as he attacks the square-shaped leftover pizza and green peas with his fork. he had been staring at his plate idle-mindly for about half an hour without even eating his supposed-to-be lunch.

the same goes for his orange juice. he just looked at it with a soulless glance and cringed. he's not really hungry now, even though he hadn't eaten anything yet. he stood up and shoved the pizza and juice back into the fridge. as for the peas, he threw them into the trash bin.

he washed his hands with water and dried them off. he drank a glass of plain water to fill his empty stomach. this is probably bad for his health but he couldn't care less.

then, he went to the living room. he turned the tv on and browsed through some channels. high school love stories. nope, too cliché. horror films. no, not feeling it. angsty melodramas where the male lead ends up dead. hell no.

he turned the tv off with a huff and threw the remote away. then he laid on the couch and stared into the ceiling. he was damn bored. there's really nothing he could or wants to do at the moment.

semester break could be boring sometimes. at least when he's drowned with assignments or classes, he won't feel this empty. not even cute cats and dogs videos could cheer him up now.

maybe... he's feeling homesick. he wouldn't eat, drink or sleep because he's missing his home. because there's no other place like home, right?

the worst thing is, nothing could heal homesick. but the home itself. but it's kinda impossible now to go back to his 'home'.

he then decided to go to his room. then, he threw himself on his bed, curling up with a blanket. he tossed himself here and there, but his eyes won't shut. he was too weak to be awake, but too energetic to be asleep.

he sighed again. it was just seven p.m. at the moment. time goes by very slowly when you want it to past quickly.

he wore his earphones and turned some upbeat songs on to lighten up his mood. it did worked for a while with 'double knot' by stray kids and 'wonderland' by ateez, but then 'spring day' came on and it worsen his condition.

without realizing it, his tears fell down by themselves. he doesn't even know why. maybe because the song is about missing someone and it's the same for him. he misses somebody deeply. he just wants to be by their side right now.

he wiped his tears away. it's silly for him to be crying just because of homesick. but he couldn't help it. it happened naturally.

he took the earphones out of his earlobes and just laid there, staring into the dark abyss. his heart felt empty, but not his mind. his mind was full with lots of thoughts, but he couldn't focus on just one. he doesn't wants to. because he'll cry again.

by then, the doorbell rang. it startled him and he flinched. but then after a while, he grinned widely and sprinted to the front door. as he opened it, he immediately pulled the guy into his embrace.

" woah—chengie, are you okay ?" taeyong asked as he ruffled his boyfriend's locks. " what happened, babe ?"

" I was feeling homesick ." sicheng replied in a very slow tone which made taeyong awed.

" you miss china ?" the chinese shook his head.

" I miss you ."

taeyong smiled. his boyfriend was so adorable and precious at the moment. he broke the hug to peck sicheng's forehead lovingly. taeyong's lips felt warm and soft. he liked the feeling of being kissed by his boyfrined.

then, he hugged the latter tightly again. taeyong chuckled. two hours without each other felt like two years for them.

" I miss you too, baby. I'm sorry it took so long. doyoung had to run some errands and I was stuck in traffic on the way home ."

sicheng didn't reply. he just clung on the older like a koala bear clinging on its mother. it was really cute. after a few moments, he broke the hug and they both settled on the couch.

even after sitting down, sicheng keeps cuddling with taeyong. the older couldn't care less though, he found his boyfriend's behaviour very adorable and wholesome.

like a cute puppy missing its owner. but he's even cuter.

they watched some action film which sicheng wasn't really paying attention to. taeyong's warmth made him sleepy. it felt really comfortable and cozy, and it really feels like home to him.

that's it. he was feeling homesick because taeyong is his home.

sicheng's eyes felt heavy and he yawned. then he just peacefully fell asleep without saying anything. taeyong who was too focused on the film didn't notices this until he turned to his boyfriend.

" hey babe—oh ." he scans sicheng's beautiful sleeping face and chuckled. " you're asleep. so cute ."

he then stood up and lifted the younger in bridal style slowly. he carried sicheng gently and carefully to their bedroom. he placed him on the bed and covered him with the blanket without waking him up.

after succeeding, he laid beside sicheng. watching the love of his life sleeping so peacefully made him smile without him realizing it. he slowly pecked sicheng's forehead and cheeks.

" good night, baby ."

this is pretty short but I like how it turned out because it's fluff uwu. also winwin is taeyong's baby don't @ me.
