Chapter 13 - Aid

Kagura groaned as she felt herself began to wake up. 'What hit me.....?' she thought to herself as she tried to regain consciousness. She heard foot steps come toward her, indicating that someone was walking to her. Soon the footsteps stopped and she could sense someone was standing over her. She heard small movement before she was met with silence.

When she was finally able to gather the rest of her consciousness, her eyes slowly began to open. When she opened them, she was with a man looking into her face, staring at her. His stare was blank and his face was unreadable. The lower half of his face was covered with a black mask and he had long red hair, something that she hadn't seen before. It was spiky at the top and straight as his hair flowed down his back. He had two side bangs that framed his face and stopped at his chest.

However, the thing that captured her attention the most were his eyes. Although they were a different color, they were captivating. His right eye was an enchanting blue, while his right eye was a ruby red. They reminded her of fire and ice. The demoness was cut out of her musings when she heard the masked man speak.

"So you're finally up." the man spoke. "I was afraid I was going to have to wake you up myself." he said as he smiled, his eyes as upside down U's. The man then stood up.

"Where am I? What am I doing here? Who are you?" Kagura questioned.

"Maaa maa, one question at a time Kaze no Akuma" he said with a smile still plastered on his face.

Kagura tried to move, but as she went to stand, she felt herself be pulled back onto the air as if something was weighing her down.

"I wouldn't move so much if I were you." he said as sat down in front of her. "Unless you want to be pinned to the floor."

"Can some tell me why this bitch is still here and why are we not killing her right now?" Inuyasha said.

"Information gathering." Naruto said simply.

"Hey it's that same lady that tried to kill Kagome!" Shippou exclaimed.

"Speaking of that, I don't even remember seeing her leave after we finished fighting the rest of the demons." Miruko said as he looked at the red head suspiciously.

"Who are you?" Kagura asked again.

"I'm Naruto." Naruto said. "As to what you are doing here, you are here to answer a few questions." he said. Sango scoffed at this.

"And why would I do that?" the demoness said as she narrowed her eyes at the blonde.

Naruto ignored her defiant question and began his 'interrogation'. "You're an incantation of Naraku's, right?" he started. The woman turned her head away from him and remained silent.

Taking her silence as a yes, Naruto continued to press her for answers. "What does he have that keeps you bound to him?" he asked.

She sharply turned to him and narrowed her eyes at him. "I don't know what you're talking about." she said coldly.

Naruto chuckled at this, much to Kagura's dismay. He stared at her. After a couple of minutes, Kagura couldn't help, but shift uncomfortably under his scrutinizing gaze. She couldn't have hold her gaze long at the intense analytical look in his eyes. It was like he was seeing right through her and breaking her down, part by part. After a couple of more seconds of looking at her, he spoke again.

"I saw you, you know." he stated simply.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"When you and your horde of demons attacked them....well more like they did." Naruto said. "You seemed pretty comfortable, sitting on your little feather and watching the battle."
