"LORD SESSHOMARU!" someone said as the high pitched screech hit the demon lord's ears.

The taiyokai inwardly growled as he recognized the sound. He had been searching for the hanyou for three weeks now and he still didn't have a lead. It was frustrating him to no end. The vexing squawk of his minion, who he had sent to collect his ward, wasn't helping his foul mood. He refrained the urge to grip the bridge of his nose in order to stave off his impending headache.

Sesshomaru turned to the Kappa. "What are you doing here, Jaken?" he said in a sharp, icy tone. "Did not this Sesshomaru already assign you a task?"

The imp hastily bowed. "My apologies, my lord. I have not been able to find the human child." he heard the demon lord lowly growl at him and quickly finished his answer. "H-however, I come bearing rather new my lord."

The demon lord narrowed his eyes at the imp. "What news could be more important that the task this Sesshomaru has given you?" he said dangerously.

Jaken loudly gulped as a bead of sweat fell from his forehead. "My lord, rumors are circulating that Naraku is making his way to Inuyasha's forest." he said quickly.

Sesshomaru's eyes seemed to narrow even further. "And this concerns this Sesshomaru because?" taking a dangerous step toward the imp. "It is probably nothing more than another one of his puppets that even that foolish brother of mine should be able to defeat." he said as he continued to step closer toward Jaken. "You are wasting my time, Jakken, and you will regret it."

Jakken began to sweat profusely. "B-But wait, my lord! I have reason to believe that he is indeed the real Naraku." he said frantically. "They say he carries a weapon of great power."

This development had seemed to peak Sesshomaru's interest causing him to stop in his tracks. He looked down to glare at the Kappa. "And what weapon would that be, Jaken?" he demanded, holding his menacing glare.

The next words that escaped Jaken's mouth, caused the demon lord to pause completely.

Jaken gulped and mentally said his prayers before answering his master. "My lord, the weapon is........"

Kagome sighed tiredly as she walked back to the hut, a bundle of herbs in a basket she held within her arms. It had been a little over a week since the Inutachi were attacked by the foreign demon. The group was still on the later ends of their recovery. While Inuyasha healed within the next three days, it took a bit longer for the rest to fully heal. Recently, they had a short excursion in a nearby village, exorcizing a weasel demon form someone's home. However, that was two days ago.

She hadn't sensed any jewel shards as of late, but that was the normal now. Obviously, all of the pieces had already been collected by either the Inu group or Naraku, the later having a nearly complete jewel. She was could almost see Kaede's hut when she suddenly stopped.

Feeling a dark presence, she turned around to look at the sky. She felt her heart leap into her throat at the sight of a massive black mass approaching them. It had been a familiar sight since she had arrived to the feudal era, however, it was it's close proximity that surprised her. The mass heading toward them were low level yokai, used by no other than Naraku. She could see it was much larger than the one's he usually sends, being close to a mile wide and a half mile in height. It was by far the biggest group she's seen.

'I have to find everyone.' she thought to herself as she began to make her way to the village. She was glad she decided to carry her bow and arrows with her today. Just as she was about to make a dash to the village to warn her friends, a voice stopped her in her tracks.
