When the dust finally settled, she had to stifle another gasp. Tears of joy threatened to fall down her cheeks when she recognized who the person was. Long red hair fell about his back with a large conical had donning his head. He was wearing all black in attire similar to that of Inuyasha except that he wore sandal boots instead no shoes at hall.
The man suddenly appeared before her, his red and blue eyes gazed down at her shining with mirth. He still wore a black facial mask and a staff was in his right hand. She notice something on his back appeared to be smoking, but paid it no mind.
"N-Naruto?" she asked carefully as she stood and stepped forward. She wanted to make sure it was really him.
"Don't cry, Kagome-chan." Naruto said as he smiled through his mask. "Did I not tell you're too beautiful to shed such tears." he said as he brushed a strand out of her face.
She only smile as her cheeks took on a light pink tint. Only Naruto would try to flirt in a situation like this. Happy that her fear was receding and overcame by relief, Naruto turned around. He walked forward until he was in the middle of battle ground between them and Naraku. He looked up at Naraku with a blank expression on his face.
"Now, I do believe we have a rendevous point, Naraku." Naruto said. "I expect you there in thirty seconds." he said before disappearing in a yellow flash.
Naraku stared at the spot with wide eyes before he narrowed them. Who in the hell did this human think he was? The fact that he had the audacity to speak to him as if he were some lower being was downright disrespectful and demeaning. With a growl, the spider hanyou took off in the direction of the Goshinboku. 'The place of all beginning, huh?' Naraku spat to himself. 'Well Naruto, prepare to meet the beginning of your end.' he thought with a evil grin. He was excited to drench his blade in the human. The final battle to the death has finally begun.
Naruto arrived in a nearly destroyed field. Looking ahead, he could see that he wasn't far the bone eater's well. 'Seems like someone has been doing a little redecoration.....' he mused to himself as he looked at the torn landscape. As he waited for the hanyou to arrive, Naruto summon two clones. In a puff, two clones appeared before him, looking at him and waiting for his instructions.
"Boss" both clones greeted simultaneously.
Naruto nodded to them in greeting. "I need one of you to scout the terrain. Help anyone that is injure and guide them to safety." he ordered. "Be sure to stay out of sight for now. I already have a fox summoned to assist you."
One of the clones nodded before disappearing in a wind elemental shunshin. Naruto then turned to the other clone who was waiting for him expectantly. "I want you to go to the village and form a barrier around it. Adamantine Sealing Chains Barrier. It will make sure no one enters or exits the village. It is also ensure everyone's safety and protection." he instructed. The nodded to him before disappearing in a yellow flash.
'Show offs' Naruto muttered to himself. A small grin tugged at his lips as he felt a familiar presence move closer to him. He turned around in the direction of the village just in time to see red, silver, and gold chains grow into the air before making an arch and going over the village. Soon a barrier of chains formed in a dome-like structure over the village.
