Sesshomaru growled low in his throat as he traveled the skies on his cloud. It had been a little over a week sense his encounter with the red head and he was still in search of the hanyou. It seemed as if every time he got a lead, the hanyou would just disappear again. The parasite frustrated him to no end. The demon lord continued to soar through the sky on his cloud, pondering on where the hanyou was. Suddenly, a small voice reached its ear.

"Lord Sesshomaru?!" the voice said.

The demon lord ignored it, thinking it was just him hearing things. That is until he heard the voice again.

"Lord Sesshomaru?!" the voice called again, this time a little.

Growling in annoyance, the taiyokai looked down from perch in the sky, looking to see who'd dare interrupt him while he was thinking. He scanned the ground below until his eyes landed on a small figure in the woods. Following the voice, Sesshomaru began to descend from the sky, landing in the woods. As got closer, the figure he saw began to run up to him.

He narrowed his eyes when the object of his attention came into view. It was Jaken. His clothes were a little torn and he reeked the scent of demon blood. The little green imp ran to his master with his staff in his hand. The first thing the demon lord noticed that his dragon nor his ward were with him as he had left them. This fact irritated the yokai even more. He tasked the imp with one simple thing. One thing. And he couldn't even do that right.

"Lord Sesshomaru?!" the green toad squawked as he fell to his master's feet. "I have been looking for you everywhere, my lord." he groveled.

"Where is Rin?" Sesshomaru demanded.

"We were attacked by a group of yokai, my lord." Jaken replied. "I seemed to have lost her during the fighting."

"This Sesshomaru tasked you with watching her." he said narrowing his eyes at the imp.

Jaken began to lightly sweat at this. "I know, my lord, but it was hard to both protect and watch her. She would have died had I not used my staff." he said wearily. "The human is a great strain to your search my lord. Maybe its best that we leave her."

Sesshomaru seemed to narrow his eyes even more at this. "Are you ordering this Sesshomaru, imp?" he said dangerous.

"W-Why of course not, my lord!" Jaken said fearfully as he groveled at his master's feet. "Forgive this foolish servant, my lord! I meant no disrespect."

"Find Rin." Sesshomaru ordered vexingly. "If you do not find her by the time we meet again, I will kill you." he said as he began to ascend into the air.

"Yes, my lord. Your humble servant shall honor your demand." Jaken said as he scurried off.

He knew that the demon lord always means what he says and expects what he says to be done in a timely matter. He also didn't want to be on the receiving end of the Tokijin again as he had before. The imp expediently began his search for the human girl. He didn't exactly know where to start, but he had to begin somewhere. Deciding to go back to the site of the attack, the imp began his journey northeast, hoping he will find or eventually run into the child and dragon.

Naruto, Rin, and Ah-Uh looked down from the lip of the massive volcano. Small pools of lava dotted the ground before them and at of the fiery lair, was what appeared to be the skeletal remains of some kind of fish demon, shaped into a hut. Naruto raised an eyebrow at the structure. It definitely wasn't the most fashionable living space, however, it oddly fit in well, considering the environment. He continued to look around. He had finally made it.
