When Naruto woke up, he found himself in a sewer. It had a red glow and a menacing aura. He stood up on to find that he was in water. He gasped as he stared at his reflection in the water. In his eyes, were a set of sharingan and his hair was no longer blonde. It was red and he had what looked like fox ears sticking out of his hair.
He heard the water splash and turned to see three tails swinging behind him. His whisker were accentuated and he had a pair of canines with fangs poking his bottom lip. His eyes were also red and slitted.
"What is this?" he said to himself as he looked at his reflection.
"So my jailor has finally come to visit me?" a menacing voice said from out of no where.
It was at that, that Naruto finally looked up and saw the large gate before him. It looked like a cage and had a sealing tag on it, that read 'SEAL'. Behind the cage was complete darkness.....until something opened its eyes. They were red and menacing, but not as intimidating as his large, sharp teeth. A shiver went down Naruto's spine at the sight.

"K-Kyuubi?" Naruto stuttered.
The bijuu sad nothing as he began to fully show himself. Naruto's eyes widened as a huge fox appeared before him with nine large tails swinging behind him. Naruto didn't know whether be shocked at seeing the actual demon that was living in his gut or at the fact that he wasn't trembling in fear. For some odd reason, the boy felt a sense of familiarity with the bijuu, something he didn't quite understand.
"Yes." the demon finally answered.
"Where am I? What am I doing here?" Naruto questioned.
"You are in your mindscape. You came him subconsciously when you were knocked unconscious by the Toad Sannin." he said
"Toad Sannin?" Naruto said more to himself. Suddenly, his eyes popped open in realization. "You mean the Toad Sage? What was he doing there?" he asked himself confusedly.
"That's yet to be determined....." the nine tails replied.
Naruto looked back at the bijuu. He tilted his head to the side curiously, trying to figure out why he felt oddly familiar with his tenant. When he heard another splash again, his attention was brought back to his current state.
"Why am I like this? What happened to me?" Naruto asked rhetorically.
Kyuubi sighed as he laid down and rested his head near the gate. He knew what was going on and decided that it was no use of keeping the truth from him. "You might want to sit down for this, Naruto." the Kyuubi.
Naruto looked at the bijuu in curiosity and confusion. Deciding to listen, he sat down in the water and scooted a little closer to the cage, still a little weary of the fox.
"It all started 8 years ago......." the Kyubi said with a distant look on his face.
