Kikyo gasped as she suddenly found her self in an odd place. The sky was blood red and the moon was red. The ground was pitch black and crows flocked from the black trees. 'What is this place?' Kikyo thought to herself until the place began to warp and the scenery suddenly changed. She found things going dark again before arriving to a different place.

In a blink of an eyes, Kikyo was now standing in a weird stone building. Looking around, she saw ancient symbols and writings on it. Some of the writing appeared to be old Japanese. She was cut out of her musings when she heard someone scream. Grabbing her bow and arrows, she dashed to where the screaming from. As she ran, she was an open door with dim lighting in a room. Hearing yet another loud scream, rushed to the door and ran inside. She stopped at what she saw.

"YAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" a woman with red hair screamed. Tears escaped her violet blue eyes as sweat drenched her fair skin. Her legs where bent and spread as she had been in labor for the past couple of hours.

Beside her, was an older woman encouraging her to take deep breaths. She looked up to the other figure that was beside. He was a blonde man with bright blue eyes and spiky hair with jaw-length bangs framing either side of his face. He wore a white, short sleeved haori with red flame-like motifs on the edges and had the kanji for "Yondaime Hokage" vertically down the back. He had his hands over her womb, as if he were suppressing something, with an ancient-like seal. The older woman nodded her head to him and he returned the nod before focusing on what he was doing.

Kikyo gasped at this. She could feel dark energy coming from the woman's womb. It was a energy all too familiar. It was a yokai. Judging off the man and the weird markings on woman's stomach, she could only assume they were trying to hold in whatever it was that was in her womb. She also didn't miss the clothing they were wearing and the Japanese writing on the blonde man's coat. Nor did she miss the ring on their fingers, meaning they were indeed married.

"Alright, push Kushina" the midwife ordered the woman. She had grayish brown hair that was in a bun and had dark eyes with wrinkles adorning her face.

Said woman pushed, howling and crying in pain as she did so. The midwife could see the head begin to the come out.

"Keep going, Kushina. Push!" she encouraged.

Kushina continued to push, gripping the sides of the table as she did so. When she gave her final push, the baby came out with a healthy cry. The midwife cut the umblicle cord as Kushina tried to recover from her hard labor. She wrapped the child in a blue cloth and gave it to Kushina who cried as she held the newborn. The older woman walked out of the chamber, leaving Kushina with her husband, who was oddly quiet as he continued to hold the seal.

"So is he mine?" the blonde in a monotone voice, causing the red head to look up at her husband. He had an unreadable expression and his voice lacked emotion or concern.

Kushina looked back down at her child who had yet to open his eyes. She noticed he had cute little whisker marks on his cheeks and lightly smiled at that. She looked back up at the blonde to see that he was now staring at her, waiting for her answer.

Kikyo slightly frowned at this. What was going on? Where they not married? Why was their yokai energy coming from her womb? It was clear that both she and the blonde man were human. So why would such strong yokai energy be coming from there. She could even tell that the baby was human. Something wasn't adding up about the situation. Wanting answers, the priestess continued to watch.

The red head looked away at his intense stare. "No....." she said in barely above a whisper, but the man heard her.

The blonde said nothing. The chamber grew silent. Suddenly, the blonde Hokage began to go through a series of handsigns. Kushina's eyes widened as she recognized what her husband began to do.
