The rest of the group just looked at each other. Kagura tensed up a bit more at being left alone with them. Even though Kagome showed some form of support, Naruto was the one that truly held off the brunt of the others' piercing gazes.

While the monk appeared to be more watchful and the kit cordial, Sango's stare was particularly venomous. Although she understood the tajiya's disposition and source of her hatred, it did not mean she would tolerate it. As Sango continued to glare at her, the wind demoness returned it with full force, refusing to back down despite her lack of proper weapon. As they stared, the tension between the two grew so thick that you could cut it with a knife. The very air seemed to cackle and waver between them.

Suddenly, Sango and Kagura dropped on the ground to their knees. Sango felt herself began to sweat heavily and her breathing became more labored. She began to shake and her eyes were wide. Kagura wasn't fairing any better. Although she was the stronger counterpart, she sat on one knee. Her eyes were closed shut and she felt her breathing start to become heavy. She gripped at the ground. 'What the hell is this that I am feeling......?' she thought to herself as she felt the pressure become so heavy that she began to shake herself.

Miroku and Kagome looked at them in a mixture of shock, confusion and worry. As they were about to go to them, a voice stopped them in their tracks.

"Leave them." a deep monotone voice called at.

Just as they were about to look around to see who it was that had spoken to them, a black figure descended from upon the trees and landed gracefully on the ground. He was dressed in a black ninja's attire with a black cloak on. He was wearing a large conical, had two katana at his hip, and was holding a staff in his right hand. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who the man was.

"Naruto.....?" Kagome said with worry.

"What is the meaning of this, Naruto?" Miroku said as he narrowed his eyes at the hatted man.

Naruto ignored them and walked up to the two women who were on the ground. He stooped down so he could look at the both of them. Sango and Kagura both raised their heads to meet his shaded eyes.

"Now, Now. We are allies now. Such discord will have to cease." he said in a calm, yet icy voice that made him sound more intimidating than Sesshomaru's gaze. "Have I made myself clear?" he asked, increasing his killing intent only slightly.

Upon feeling more pressure, the women quickly nodded before they felt the invisible pressure disappear. Sango gasped for air as she and the wind demoness tried to recover. Naruto rose to full height and just looked down at them. If one could see his eyes, they were emotionless. Cold and devoid of any feeling. Kagome and Miroku looked at the man uneasily as he stood completely still and appeared to be watching the two struggling to their feet.

As they got to their feet, Naruto closed his eyes. He heard the faint buzz of a bug coming from his left an he opened his eyes. His eyes narrowed dangerously as a senbon quickly flew out of his hand and impaled the insect that was hidden within the woods. Miroku and Kagome looked at Naruto with a mixture of both surprise, weary, and confusion. When Kagura gathered her bearings, she turned to Naruto and glared at him.

"What in the hell did you do to us, Naruto?! I felt like I was going to fucking die." Kagura said in anger.

"He was here." Naruto stated simply. Everyone tensed up at this and quickly got into fighting positions.

"Where is he?" Miroku said scanning the area.

"There was a insect hiding within the woods, spying on us." Naruto explained before he disappeared from sight.
