"KAGOME!" Inuyasha yelled as her form phased out of existence. Everyone else's eyes widened at what just happened.

"What happened?" Sango panicked. "Where she?"

Inuyasha said nothing as he bounded into the try tops and began to run near the village. Miroku and Sango exchanged worried glances before they ran after the distressed hanyou, with Shippo right on their tail. 'I wonder what she wished for?' Miroku thought as he and his team ran after the half-demon who grew to be considered a close friend. He could see the worry on the demon slayers face as she rode Kirara. He prayed to the gods that the miko was okay.

Inuyasha jumped through the trees as if he were in a trance. The only person on his mind was Kagome. What had happened? What was that glow and where was she taken? What did she wish for? Those were the questions that were running through his mind as he made his way to his destination 'Stupid wench.....' he thought frustratingly as he bounded from tree to tree. 'What did you do?' he said to himself sadly. Shortly, a clearing came into view as he leapt onto the ground. He quickly made his way to the hole surrounded by stone. The Bone Eater's Well.

The rest of the Inu team arrived at the clearing a couple of minutes after Inuyasha got there. When they found him, he was standing in front of the Bone Eater's Well. His ears were down and his eyes told of so many emotions. The team walked up to the hanyou in silence as he stared at the well. A depressed quietness overtook them as they silently mourned. Miroku prayed a small prayer for the miko while Sango shed a few tears along with Shippo, who was worried about his mother figure.

Inuyasha walked up the well and touched it's stone. Suddenly, Inuyasha jumped in, hoping that he would be able to get to the other side. His sadness seemed to grow when he landed in the well only to be met with dirt and bone. He closed his eyes and clenched his fists. He knew what happened. She was sent back.......back to her time. He felt his heart clench at this revelation.First it was Kikyo, and now it was him. He wondered why he was always left to suffer. Why he could never find happiness. Bottling his grievance, Inuyasha leapt out of the Bone Eater's Well and landed on the opposite side of where his friends stood.

The clearing remained silent at his reemergence. His back remained turned to his friends so they couldn't see his face. But they knew the hanyou was grieving, and was more than likely trying the hide it like he always did. Inuyasha looked at the clear skies, his hair blowing with wind.

"She's safe." he said with his back still towards them. Not long after, Inuyasha began to walk away.

"Inuyasha!" Sango called out.

Inuyasha stopped and looked over his shoulder. Sango was about to say something, but when she saw his eyes, she felt her words become stuck in her throat. There as a whirl of emotion that swirled within those amber orbs. She had never seen the hanyou so down. So....detached. Her eyes left him as she looked away, not really knowing what to say. At this, Inuyasha turned his head back forward and continued to walk. Once he got near the tree line, he leapt into the trees and ventured off, leaving the rest of the team at the well.
