"You can close your eyes to things you don’t want to see, but you can’t close your heart to things you don’t want to feel.”
                                      – Johnny Depp

Misha's POV:

I was sitting in the living room staring at the gate for no particular reason. I was bored sitting idly. I asked mom to give me some work but she completely denied it saying that I should rest. I tried to make her understand that I'm tired of resting but she didn't listen to me.

Last night was so hectic for me. After I came home, mom immediately came and hugged me. She looked worried and even had tears in her eyes. I wanted to apologize to her for ignoring her for all those days but as Varun was also there, I didn't say anything. However, I was more shocked to know that Varun was going to come searching behind me. It would never be his idea and I was pretty sure about it. Maybe mom would have told him.

"Bye beta, I'm leaving." Dad said as he took his watch kept on the table.

"Next time if Varun says something, inform me, don't leave this house and go." He said running his hand over my head.

"I'm sorry. I agree it was my mistake.I won't do that again." I replied.

"See you later." he said and went away.

Last night after dinner was done I went to talk with mom, I seriously felt the need to apologize. The way varun said it, it kept running in my head. I thought that dad was not home yet but he was and he even heard everything. He asked me about what Varun said however I didn't tell him anything. He was even going to have a word with Varun for which I had to take a lot of effort to stop him.

Now I don't know what's wrong with Varun, he didn't come out of his room since today morning. He even had his breakfast there and that's the reason why I haven't seen him or Isha. I wonder what my baby must be doing.

"Want some?" Janvi asked as she placed lots of chocolates in front of me.

"No, thanks. Do you have Aarav's number?" I asked as she nodded giving me a suspicious look.

"I didn't thank him last night and now I want too." I said and heard my phone beep.

"I sent." she said and stuffed another chocolate in her mouth.

"Thank you." I said and called him. He received it after six rings making me wonder if he was busy and that I disturbed.

"Hey, it's Misha. Are you busy?"

"No, I'm not. I just reached office." he replied.

"Alright. Thanks for yesterday. You are really an amazing person."

He replied saying that there's no need to say thanks and what he did was a friendly gesture. He even asked me if I was ok and then soon after some random talk I was about to disconnect the call but he stopped.

"Wait."

"What's up with Varun? Is he ok?" He asked and I had no answer for it.

"I don't know. He didn't come out of his room but he is ok, as what Janvi said. Why?" I asked and came to know that he informed Aarav that he is not coming to the office today.

"Anyway, You take care."

"Yeah bye." I said.

"Bye." He said and disconnected the call. Why is he not going to office? Is he ok? Is Isha ok?

"Janvi, do me a favour. Please go and see if Isha is alright."

"Why? What happened? And they both are alright. In fact they are going somewhere." She replied and I saw both father and daughter coming downstairs. Varun was holding her hand as she kept taking small steps. Adorable!
