Chapter : 30

"Be the reason someone smiles today."

Misha's POV:

It's been a week since Varun came to know the truth. Since then he is not talking to anybody.  Mom, Dad and Janvi keep trying but however there isn't any improvement. The home which always felt happy is now all sad and depressed. I hate when this happens. I feel like I'm not living in a home. Home is a place where happiness is! Without happiness, those strong connections between it's members, it is just a house with four walls, it can never be termed as a home.

"Stop talking to yourself and eat your breakfast." Janvi said making me nod. what am I supposed to do? I'm the kind of person who loves talking and now a days no one talks here, I get bored. I really wish to change this situation, I want my family to be happy again but idiot Varun won't ever understand that. Even I tried to talk with him however he shoved me off telling he don't wish to talk with anyone. The only time he talked to me in these past seven days was when he informed that he will be late home. I was very shocked when he did that because informing is not Varun's thing and informing me, is definitely not.

"When are you going to Aarav's office?" Janvi asked.

"I will leave in half hour." I replied. Aarav called me yesterday to his office, when I asked why, he said that he wants to talk regarding some business stuff. I even asked what it is but he was to stubborn to tell all the details, he just said that he needs a Interior designer and so I should help him. It is my profession and so without any further questions I agreed to meet him. He told me to meet him in his office for which I was very hesitant, not like I was not excited to see Varun and his office but I was more hesitant to think about Varun's reaction when he sees me there.

"Bhabhi, when will everything be ok again? I really miss talking Varun." She said looking very sad. She has already made numerous efforts to talk but it had absolutely no effect on Varun.

"I miss my brother who used to play with me, who used to taunt me, tease me but at the end of the day who used to love me more than anything. I swear I didn't tell him the truth because Mom was right when she said that he should get married again, he has a whole life in front of him. We never wanted him to be sad for the rest of his life. I wanted him to be happy, he deserved to be happy again and so I didn't tell him anything. I never imagined that things will go so wrong that he will stop talking to me, he has never done that, Never. I want my brother back." She said as tears started to fell down her cheeks.

"Janvi, stop crying, please." I said consoling her. Earlier I used to find it so difficult to console a crying person but now I guess I have mastered that art because now I console every single person.

"He still loves you and he always will. I agree he is behaving strange but that's because he is hurt. He trusted you, he believed that you will support him in his every decision unfortunately things didn't happened his way and so he is angry but still he is the same Varun who loves his sister unconditionally."

"As far as I know Varun, he is actually a very family oriented man and trust me he can't be away from you guys for more time. Soon his love for you will over power his anger and you will get your brother back."

"I would suggest to talk with him again, make more efforts. okay? Stop crying now." I said and wiped her tears.

"Come with me and help me select a outfit." I said and took her with me. It was the first time that I was going to the place where Varun works, not everyone but at least few people there know that I'm his wife and so I want to look good and presentable.

After lots of confusion she helped a select a outfit which was definitely not formal, she choose a Pink top and paired it with a black jean, to give it a touch of formal look she added a black blazer to it. I was again a bit hesitant to wear that because I gained some weight this past few months and I look chubby now and with that outfit on, I knew I would look more chubby.
