Chapter : 26

Misha's POV:

"Do you even have any idea what would have happened if I didn't have caught you?" He asked as he made me steady on the floor.

"How can you be so careless?" He shouted making me angry this time. He was the one who completely ignored me first and now he has the guts to shout at me. I wanted to shout back but then again he just helped me and as what he said I can't imagine what would have happened if he didn't have caught me at the right time.

"Who told you wear a saree? What were you trying to be? Best daughter in law?" He shouted again. Control misha, you shouldn't get angry.

"When Tanvi came here, she wasn't wearing a saree and everyone was ok with it. I don't understand from where you got this idea but at least you should have talked with me once."

"I'm sorry and thanks for saving me." I said and went a step ahead. Frankly speaking, while I was talking to him I looked back at mom and dad, uncle and aunty, Varun's cousin who was married a month before us, they all looked so happy walking with their partners and then there was me, who in spite of having a husband was walking alone. Looking at them made me realize how lonely I was. 

As I went ahead I saw a lady selling different types of keychains and lockets on the stairs. The keychains were so cute that I immediately felt like buying them but then I remembered my purse is with Janvi who is far away from me. I guess I will buy while returning. I was about to go further when a voice made me stop.

"Want to buy something?" It was Varun's voice. Was he looking at me to see that I was doing?

"No." I replied and went further before he could say anything but then again he came running behind me.

"Misha wait." He said as he came and stood in front of me. I don't know what is it when he calls my name, I just forget everything disturbing me.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to shout at you. The steps here are dangerous, you could have seriously hurt yourself a lot." He said making me so happy that I totally forgot that I was hurt a few minutes ago.

"Anyway. I'm sorry again." He said. This man is surely going to kill me with all those butterflies he gives me from time to time.

"It's ok. I'm not angry nor hurt." I said and again moved from there before I could blush like an idiot. 

"You didn't say what you want to buy." He said stopping me once again.

"My purse is with Janvi. I will buy while returning." I replied but he completely ignored what I said and took me to the place where the lady was selling those keychains.

"Varun, I will buy later." I said but then again he didn't listen to me. While buying I was confused between two and so I asked for his suggestion for which he said me buy both because he liked both of them. In all I bought 8 keychains and Varun paid for them. I thanked him and we were going to move further when Parth came and stood beside me.

"Man, take your daughter. She can't stay without you." He said and handed Isha to Varun.

"Daughter can't stay away from her dad, Wife can't stay away from her husband. What a crazy family." parth said taunting me for which he got a slap on his arm from me and absolute ignorance from Varun. He just took Isha and went from there.

"Did I disturb you both?" Parth asked.

"Of course not. If you wouldn't have came here I would have been walking with him." I said making him laugh.

"I'm sorry." 

"Shut up. I was joking." I said and started walking with him. 

"You know what, for a moment I really thought that Varun was going lift you and then take you to the temple." He said making me blush. Just imagining it made me happy.
