Chapter 12: I'll Be Back

I let out a groan when I felt a hand caressing my left cheek. Napadilat ako nang makita si Gideon na nakangiti sa akin nang sobrang laki halos mapunit na ang mukha niya.

Natataranta akong bumangon, "Naku, s-sorry!" Sabi ko. "Hindi ko sinasadyang makatulog sa tabi mo."

He stared at me before saying, "I'm not complaining, get back here, Ariadne." Tapos ibinuka niya ang mga braso niya na para bang sinasabing humiga ako sa dibdib niy— "Please?" He softly said.

I did what he said, I carefully laid on his chest and then I felt him stroking my hair. "Kumusta ka?" Tanong ko, "May masakit pa ba sayo?"

"Nah. I'm fine now."

Kahit hindi ko siya nakikita ay ramdam ko ang pag-ngiti niya sa mga salita niya. I sighed in relief. Mabuti naman.

"Were you... sleeping next to me since last night?"

His question made me stop for a few seconds. Shoot. Okay here it goes... "Yeah, I'm sorry.." I softly said, "I wanted to look after you."

Inalis niya ang braso niya na nasa likod ko at humarap sa akin. Our faces are just a few inches away from each other. I took a gulp.

"That was sweet, Ari.. no one has ever done that to me." Mahinang sabi niya at hinawakan ang pisngi ko.

"Gideon..." I called out his name at hinawakan yung kamay niya na nasa pisngi ko. "What do you feel... about me?" There! I finally broke the ice! Huhu!

"What do you mean?" Pasimple niyang tanong. I mentally rolled my eyes. Seriously?

"Nababaliw na ako.. bakit minsan malapit tayo sa isa't isa, minsan lumalayo ka sa akin? Hindi ko na alam, Gideon.. sagutin mo yung tanong ko." Matapos kong sabihin 'yon ay lumapit ako lalo sakanya, wala na akong pake kung mag-mukha akong easy-to-get. Heck! Ayoko yung nagpapaligoy-ligoy.

"To be honest with you.. I'm still not sure about what I feel, but I am sure about one thing, ayaw kitang mawala sa akin, Ariadne."

I closed my eyes as I felt his lips on mine. I don't know what's happening but the next thing I know is he's on top of me and we're kissing deeply and passionately, my hands are wrapped around his neck and his hand is making its way on my thighs. I don't want this to end.. whatever's happening, I don't want this to end. I want him so bad.

I closed my eyes tightly as I felt his lips on my neck, gently leaving some wet kisses. "Gideon.." I simply moaned his name and he went back to my lips, kissing me hungrily.

We were both startled when we heard a knock on his door. "Ari? Gising na ba si Gids?" It was Eaton.

"I'm fine now, Eaton. Lalabas na kami mamaya." Gideon replied. We heard Eaton's footsteps na papalayo.

We stared at each other's eyes. I could see his softness in his eyes, na para bang sinasabing huwag ako mawala sa kanya.

He got off on top of me at naupo, nakatalikod siya sa akin. "You'll be the death of me, Ariadne... please don't do that again, I don't want to do things with you that you might end up regretting," He softly said before facing me. Tumayo na ako sa kama, wala akong masabi kaya lalabas nalang muna ako? Nahihiya ako sakanya matapos ng nangyari. Huhu!
