Chapter 16 - Real Identity

Deanna.

Sobrang traffic na naman as usual kaya halos 4pm na akong dumating sa opisina. Damn, hindi na ako nasanay.

After ng lunch namin ni Jema kanina, bumili pa kami ng gamot na nireseta ni Doc before I dropped her sa house. Magta taxi na lang nga sana sya para hindi na ako maabala pero siempre hindi ako pumayag. Inihatid ko talaga si wifey ng door to door.

Yun nga lang, kung kelan nagmamadali at saka gahol sa oras, traffic naman. I was running na tuloy papunta ng room ko. Sinalubong naman ako agad ni Kyla.

"Boss Deans, good afternoon. Nasa conference room na po si Mr. Delos Santos." sabi nya sabay abot ng folder sa akin.

Napatingin ako sa relo ko, 3:55pm. I still have 5 minutes.

"Hi Kyla, can you please join and entertain him while I refresh lang, 5 minutes then I'll be there." sabi ko.

"Yes, boss Deans." she replied.

Kinuha naman nya uli yung folder na ibinigay nya sa akin. I went to the restroom and washed my face. Inayos ko ang aking damit na medyo nagulo kanina sa hospital. I still loook presentable naman.

When I felt satisfied sa hitsura ko, dumiretso na ako sa conference room.

"Hi, good afternoon." bati ko sa kanila upon entering the room.

A middle aged man is sitting there while Kyla is busy telling him something.

"Hello, Deanna Wong?" tanong ng lalaki na tumayo from his seat.

We shook hands.

"Yes, I am. How are you, Mr, Delos Santos?" sagot ko.

"Fine, thanks. I'm glad you accommodated me even if it's a short notice." he replied.

The guy is in his mid or late fifties siguro. May mga white hair na rin kasi, parang si Dad ko lang. He is tall and carry this persona na respectable. Mukhang madaling kausapin. Hay, sana nga.

"That's alright, what can we do for you sir?" sabi ko.

"Hey, drop the formalities. Don't call me sir, just Lito, that will do." he replied.

Tumango ako sa kanya. Eh di sige, Lito na lang para hindi ako nalilito, hahaha.

Loko ka talaga, Wong.

"As you can initially see sa company brochure namin, we are a real estate investment firm. Recently, I had a deal with Camella Homes of Villar group of companies. I want to put up an advertisement about the houses that we are going to build near Tagaytay. It's located at Silang, Cavite. It's like a collaboration of two companies although solely kami ang hahawak nito. Parang thru Villar company lang since mas sikat sila as developer. Do you get the idea that I'm tying to express?" he asked.

"Yes, yes, I got it. I have a brilliant idea na nga kahit nag uusap pa lang tayo." medyo maangas na sagot ko.

Naks, ikaw na talaga ang astig na boss, Wong.

After an hour of discussing on what he wants, nagkasundo kami in the end. Hindi man lang ako pinagpawisan ha.

"I will send you the proposal by next week po and if you agree with it then we can prepare the ads within two weeks. Upon your approval, we can release it the following day or whenever you want." I explained.

"So parang 3 weeks bago mo ito matatapos and mare-release?" he asked.

"Well, let's say I sent the proposal by Monday and you approved it same day, then we can finish it earlier than three, maybe in 2 weeks instead of 3." sabi ko.
