Talagang susugod na ako para hilahin palayo ang haliparot na babae from my wife kaso natunugan yata ni Jema ang gagawin ko.
"Deanna, why don't you sit down muna. Mukhang pagod na pagod ka." sabi ni Jema sabay tayo na kaya napaatras si Amber.
Jema instantly moved forward to block me from Amber. Napatigil tuloy ako at nailagay ko sa side ko ang aking left hand na may hawak ng surpresa sa kanya. That's when she saw the flowers. Nanlaki mata nya at biglang ngumiti ng pagkatamis tamis sa akin.
"Are you not giving the flowers to your lovely wife?" Amber said.
Napatingin ako ng masama kay Amber pero hinawakan na ni Jema ang mukha ko. I was forced to look at her again.
"Don't do anything, asawa. I can explain." mahinang sabi ni Jema.
Tumingin ako ng diretso sa mata nya at nakita ko doon ang pakiusap at pag aalala sa mga sinabi nya. Parang may takot sa mga mata nya?
She took the flowers away from my hand na rin.
"Thank you very much for the flowers, Deanna." she said while putting it on the side of her table.
What? Jema is too formal and serious all of a sudden.
Hmm, nasa office kayo so act accordingly, Wong.
Ganun na lang yun? Napurnada yung kiss ko ah. Bwiset na Amber kasi.
Why is she even here, in our own office? Gusto yata nito tumawag pa ako ng police. Ayaw kaming tantanan. Ang kapal ng mukha na magpakita pa uli sa aming mag asawa pagkatapos ng ginawa nya sa amin noon.
Para namang nababasa ni Jema ang nasa isip ko kaya sya na ang nagpaliwanag.
"Amber is now working with us. She started today." she seriously said.
This statement from Jema has left me flabbergasted, to say the least. My emotions are in conflict.
"What? How come I didn't know about it? Who decided to hire her? You? Why would you do a stupid thing like that? I have every right to know what's going on in this company, don't you think?" medyo inis na tanong ko kay Jema.
Jema is just silent tapos si Amber is just smirking. Pag untugin ko kaya silang dalawa.
Badtrip naman oh. Porke pumayag ako na bumalik uli si Jema sa work eh parang wala na akong silbi sa kanya. She's deciding on her own na. Wala na ba talaga akong karapatan dito sa opisina?
I felt betrayed to be honest. Jema is the last person I will expect to do something like that. Damn.
Amber is sitting down now and looking at us. Parang nanonood lang ng sine. She is definitely stalking me and my family. Ano ang gusto nya? We both deflected her advances to us. Hindi pa ba pumapasok sa kokote nya na ayaw namin sa kanya.
"Calm down, please." Jema finally replied.
"How can I calm down? Tell me." I asked begrudgingly.
"Sorry for the late notice, Deanna. Like you, I was surprised too but I can't do anything regarding this matter. It's Mr. Delos Santos decision and judgement to hire Amber, okay? So save your breath and speech for him. I'm just relaying to you the news." Jema explained.
Sheeeeet. Doon ako natauhan bigla. Para akong kamatis sa sinabi ni Jema. Kontodo emote na ako e. Pahiya ako doon huhu. Si Amber naman ay gusto na yatang humagalpak ng tawa. Buti na lang poker face lang si Jema.
