Laura's P.O.V
It gets darker and Sam chooses to do a fire ritual to burn the negative energy from us.
Not long after Colby thought he saw a shadow figure and starts running towards it.
"COLBY" Sam and I scream for him and start chasing him. Jake tells Corey to stay at the fire.
"HURRY UP I SEE IT" Colby yells still running.
Sam and Jake see something else and walk towards it. Me, I continue running after Colby.
After a bit I felt something grab me and I scream but the figure covers my mouth.
Colby's P.O.V
I was so close to the shadow but I heard a scream of fear and it sounded like Laura but the scream sounded like it was muffled and I run back.
"LAURA... LAURA... LAURA WHERE ARE YOU" I call and scream and yell. I go on for 5 minutes and I see her tied up to a tree. (Like in Teen Wolf the sacrifices)
"JAKE... COLBY... LAURA... WHERE ARE YOU ALL" I hear Sam call out.
"OVER HERE SAM" I call out and not long after he's next to me in shock seeing Laura tied to the tree. She looks knocked out.
"I really don't understand what you see in this bitch" Jake says coming out of the shadows holding a bat.
"Jake what are you doing?" Sam says. Jake smiles then chuckles.
"What am I doing... What Am I Doing... WHAT AM I DOING." He laughs like a maniac.
"I'm gonna kill her. She's taking too much space in this group. She is stealing the spotlight in everything. She has everyone wrapped around her finger." He says hitting her in the stomach with the bat.
I scream and Sam holds me back. We hear sirens. Corey and a cops come over and Jake starts running throwing the bat on the ground.
2 of the cops run after him while one goes to see if Laura is ok.
"So what happened here?" He asks.
"We'll we're YouTubers... and found out this place is full of scary paranormal things... and it's spirit active... and my friend here saw a shadow and chased it... Laura, Jake and I started following him... and told Corey to stay at the camp in case anyone comes back... Jake and I saw a hanging baby thing... and Laura and Colby kept running... As Jake and I ran back... Jake ran the other way... I called out saying wrong way... but he kept going... so I followed, but I lost him... I heard Laura scream and thought Jake... Colby found her like this and Jake said... (I'm gonna kill her. She's taking too much space in this group... She is stealing the spotlight in everything... She has everyone wrapped around her finger.)..." Sam says out of breath and tearing up. (... means panting)
I'm just in shock I can't move I just wanna break down.
"Sheriff we caught the criminal. Over"
"Dispatch him to the car, Unit 10. Over"
"What's gonna happen to him?" Corey asks.
"You'll know in court if you wanna support the victim. But most likely jailed for life if found guilty" He says. He gets a recorder out and says.
"Victim has huge deep wound on the right side of head, looks like from the bat. Bruises all over rope marks on neck and wrists. Blood coming out of chest, right leg and right hip. Clothes ripped....".
He keeps going I just think, what if I've lost her forever. I can't do that, I can't have that.
He calls for an ambulance and while they are on there way he takes photos for the crime scene
The ambivalence arrive and put her on a stretcher and take her to the hospital. Corey goes with her because he is family.
Sam and I pack up and book a hotel near the hospital.
